Our lives will never be the same,
I can't explain
I can't contain
This level of pain...
Society puts me to shame...
All these false allegations & claims
What remains
WE will never be the same
These once familiar streets
Now put me to sleep
My rage is so deep
My anger speaks
They've silenced my inner peace
Un armored & no priors,
Switching lanes
Is why they stopped her
Being strong is why they killed her
"Knowing" is why they silenced her
Her intelligence brought fear
The secret genocide is clear
People of color
Do your hear
The sounds of their loud cheers
Their happiness through our tears
An "I" for an "I"
Hammurabi said it best
No longer can one clean this mess
Silence cocoons negative stress

I will never kill myself
I know what I carry
The Revolution no longer tarries
Until we are no more,
only then will they be happy
They fail to remember
Death is never the Enemy
This life alone cannot silence me
What's to come is beyond
What we See
The soils will bleed
The waters will cry
The skies will darken
The winds will scream
The plants will die
And then our ancestors will arise
Sandra say hello to my sisters & brothers
And to all our leading fathers & mothers
No longer will be smothered
Our souls are bothered
Our hearts' shattered
Teach us not to be scattered
Unity is the only answer
The only solution to this disaster
Truly loving one another
Putting our minds together
Not allowing self hate to fester
Rejecting the hierarchies of the master
Only then can we avenge Her
And the Others

Until we speak again,
