Skye watched the waves at shore erase every footprint in the sand with a monochromatic colored face. The sun dress she wore flowed in the wind in a synchronized pattern as strands of her hair blurred her vision.

"Skye, hurry up, we're leaving in a few," mom placed a hand on her daughter's naked shoulder, giving it a light pat as her child stared back into her eyes with a slight nod, although she was reluctant to evacuate the place she viewed as a modern paradise, and her mom went ahead to get the luggage set.

The wind blew, breeze cold but felt comfortable against her skin. As her eyes closed, her straw hat was carried by the current in the air which had her reaching out but to no avail.
She ran, but her slipper got stuck in the sand. A low groan escaped her throat as pain shot up her leg. The rock beneath her knee felt rough against her skin as she clutched onto the blood tainted skin around it.

Before she could plan to stand up on her own, she was gently pulled up, the wanted straw hat was being positioned on her head. Her vision, directed onto the arms around her own, shook. She glanced up, a boy around her age, brunette, and a total flower boy had a smile on his face as he fixed the accessory on her head.

But before she could say her appreciation, he was already gone, telling her to be careful before he disappeared.

She got to the van, came across a good scolding from her mother for being clumsy, and plucked her earphones in with a wandering heart.

I know that we will meet again.
