I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been reading along with Audrey and Caleb's journey. It's been wonderful to see your reactions and thoughts on their journey and to be able to share a special part of my province with you. While the story and characters are fictional, Churchill and the communities they visit along the way are all very real and beautiful, if you ever get a chance to visit.

I hope that you enjoyed their journey and that the ending was satisfying. I've been going back and forth on how to wrap up the story for months. The kayaking was a last-minute addition, but I did want to show a sliver of that life for Audrey and Caleb.

While I haven't fully decided or committed to writing it, there may be a spin-off novel for Trevor that covers a similar timeline to Audrey's return for the wedding. But I want to wrap up some older projects that have been on hold before I get there.

If you want to know more about the writing of Flight Risk and some of my other projects, I did an interview with the TripleACommunity that I'll link in the inline comments. (And yes the premise of the book was lightly based on personal experience)

An extra special thank you to these wonderful and talented authors who've been supporting 'Flight Risk' with their wonderful comments. I highly recommend checking out their works if you are looking for your next great read:

(Also if anyone is uncomfortable being on this list, please reach out and I can remove your section).

bigfivedonaldduckfan:  AJ is a Watty-award-winning author of various thriller, horror and contemporary fantasy stories. I am torn to pick a favourite because there are so many amazing ones, but you can't go wrong with 'Baguette Rhymes with Dead' (amazing travel, paranormal, and queer romance set in Paris) or the #WitchcraftWednesday (contemporary paranormal fantasy - Watty winner) and its sequel #FreakshowFriday (set in Venice!).

Thank you for coming on another wild ride with my characters, AJ! I always love reading your reactions and analysis of the characters and story and chatting about travel and the world. Thanks for supporting so many of my works over the years. So glad to have met you!

eleanorkennedy14 : Elanor is a talented author of intriguing short stories and the recently completed fantasy novel 'The Gifts of Mortality'. It does a wonderful job exploring the concept of mortality and how it gives life meaning through the eyes of both gods and humans.

I'm very grateful you stumbled across my story, Eleanor, and seeing your reactions, especially to the sections on asexuality and love fuels my writer's soul. It's why I write, so I really appreciate all your wonderful comments. Thanks for sharing Caleb and Audrey's love of nature and animals (minus the geese XD) and investing in their journey, and sorry for the heartbreaking lead-up to the finale.

nikszabo : Nikole has incredibly written heartfelt stories. I've checked out 'Just Like Starting Over' which is a beautiful dramatic Beatles (John Lennon) fanfiction. I'm always impressed by the historical details layered into the setting and story drama and just how steeped in emotion I am after finishing one of her epic chapters.

So happy to have met you as we enjoy each other's stories, Nikole! Your thoughtful and kind words always make me smile! Thank you for caring for Audrey and Caleb and for being so supportive!

HeidiCarroll: Heidi writes fantastic contemporary novels which you'll find on Wattpad and Amazon.  I've really enjoyed both 'The Heart of London' (heartfelt family-centred medical drama) and 'The Solo Dating Experiment' (fun women's fiction/slownburn romance). The romance in the stories is very sweet, and the cherry on the cake for me is seeing either the supportive family dynamics (Heart of London) or the emphasis on personal growth prioritized before romance.

Thank you for all your thoughtful and kind comments, Heidi! I really appreciate you taking the time to check out the book and share your insights into the characters!

UnbalancedMom333: Natalia is a Watty-award-winning romance writer. I've had the pleasure of checking out 'Hetty and Ryan' (young adult romance), 'A New Reflection' (young adult romance - Watty Winner) and my recent favourite set in beautiful Chile (which she captures so well especially if you love exploring local food and culture) 'Grapes Upside Down' (New adult romance).

Thank you for your support on my collection of ace stories and for sharing all your contemplation about different forms of attraction that arise as you take the journeys with my various ace characters. I always enjoy reading your insights.

mygoodbones: Mygoodbones writes compelling, unique slice-of-life stories that explore family dynamics (both biological and found), mental health/illness, and queerness. I've really enjoyed getting to know Miles and Ziri in 'I Was Just Trying to be Funny' and 'I Just Want You to Like Me'. I'm always impressed by their incredibly unique and memorable descriptions.

Thank you for picking up my story among the many others in Rainbow BC. Your kind words in the comments and on Discord about the queerness of the story and of Audrey's dreams really made me feel welcome in the club and community. 💜

Pollyf79: Polly has an impressive collection of hilarious and fun rom-coms, many set in Scotland that always have witty and cheeky narrators. Some of my favourites are 'The Reluctant Roadtripper' (exploring beautiful Scotland- Amby top pick), 'Practice Makes Perfect' (fun with fake dating a roommate- Amby top pick), and 'No Reservations' (childhood friends to lovers).

Thank you for supporting a number of my projects Polly! I always enjoy reading your entertaining comments.

rhymeswithfry: Brian is a two-time Watty-winning author who writes across many genres. The unifying theme you'll find in his work is great trans representation. I love so many of his books for different reasons. 'All That and a Bag of Chips' is a fun and entertaining rom-com, 'The Queer Rebels' is a great page-turning dystopian sci-fi, and 'Marin's Fire' is a fantastic historical quest story with magic worked in as well.

Thank you for continuing to support my stories, Brian! I always enjoy connecting with you and reading your insights that help me grow as a writer. I hope this story throws you through a few less loops than Different Slice.

strange_daisies: EM R has heartfelt Beatles fanfiction stories including 'Places I Remember' which explore complicated family dynamics and lost connections. I continue to be impressed by the research that goes into these stories.

Thank you so much for bingeing many chapters, supporting my story and sharing your thoughtful comments. It's been a pleasure connecting with you!

_reichii: Rei is a talented author of many queer contemporary romance novels that often have an element of supernatural to them. I've had the pleasure of reading 'Lost and Found', 'Go Against Destiny' (Amby top pick & favourite) and 'Calathea'. I love how Rei explores mental health and depression with the characters in many of these words, and the natural/plant theme in Calathea really appeals to me.

Thanks for your wonderful and thoughtful support on several of my stories, Rei! It's always a pleasure to see your perspective and connect over our stories.

SnowWhite249172: This author has a complex contemporary mystery 'Finding Claire' and a thrilling fanfiction 'A Summoner's Journey'. I really enjoy the time dedicated to developing characters that fall into the gray category in 'Finding Claire' as well as exploring the stress of parenthood and post-partum depression. The strong friendships and found family in 'A Summoner's Journey' are lovely to see alongside the fun world-building.

I always enjoy reading your detailed insights into Audrey and Caleb's characters and situations. You bring up a lot of great points. Thanks for supporting my past projects as well!
