Song Quote: Cirice
"A candle casting a faint glow
You and I see eye to eye
Can you hear the thunder?
How can you hear the thunder that's breaking?
Now there is nothing between us.
From now our merge is eternal.
Can't you see that you're lost?
Can't you see that you're lost without me?
I can feel the thunder that's breaking in your heart.
I can see through the scars inside you.
I can feel the thunder that's breaking in your heart.
I can see through the scars inside you."

Third Person's Pov:
As everyone celebrates the demise and fall of the Cursed Queen and her fallen army, one soul does not rejoice.

Instead Wu jumps from the ship and creates his own elemental dragon to ride. He rushes atop the beast to the remains of the Preeminent where her tentacles still push out of the water to desperately grasp at salvation. Her ghosts falling lifelessly into the water and disappearing completely.

Wu spots amidst the tentacles Morro holding the Realm Crystal as he uses his free hand to propel himself up with his wind powers.

One of the Preeminent's tentacles grab him. Not in an act of desperate salvation, but utter malice and vengeance. If the Queen should fall, so too should those in her court that failed her.

Morro stubbornly refuses this fate. He uses all of his energy into pushing himself up with his wind. The gust of wind working against the weight of a beast.

Wu rushes his dragon forth hovering over the Master of Wind.

"Take my hand!" The sensei exclaims as he leans down to once again hold out a bit of hope for the student he failed.

"Why? So you can take the Realm Crystal and use it to find your own prized pupil?!" Morro shouts in indignation.

"You are all my prized pupils! But none of us can do this alone. You're strong, Morro, but it takes others to make us stronger. Even me!" He pleads out to the good parts of the ghost he saw once almost a lifetime ago.

Morro could feel the energy fueling his wind dwindling as he looks back and forth between nonexistence and the helping hand.

Something sour in his soul holds him back. Perhaps his anger, or maybe his disappointment and rejection from his old master.

"Take my hand, so we can be stronger together. Please, Morro!" Wu desperately cries out to him.

Morro grasps his hand. He tries to tug himself free, but he is weighed down physically and mentally by the Preeminent. How could he begin to rebuild again? He is dead. The dead do not grow like the living.

What he has done to aid the Preeminent will never be undone. If he could see the light again, he cannot undo all of the heartache, disappointment and failure of the past.

There has been no hope in his heart for a long time.

You cannot save an apple that has rotten from the inside out.

"You can only save those who want to be saved. Goodbye, Sensei" Morro smiles at Wu. An expression of peace and acceptance he has not had in years.

You can only toss it out to save the others from going bad.

He let's go of Wu's hand and instead slips the Realm crystal into it before he is dragged down again.

Morro closes his eyes as he lets the Preeminent take him for all his sins and disappears with the waves.

"Morroooo!!!!!" Wu cries out as he mourns his lost student.
