"I'm so excited!" Elsie exclaims fastening her seat belt. "Do you think they'll have pasta in those big cheese wheels?" Enzo asks, "because if they do, I want one to try and one to bring back home."
"Fat ass" I mumble, "sorry?" Enzo questions, "last time I checked eating was a vital part of life."
"They actually look pretty good." Elsie chimes.
"Well now we have to try them." Enzo says smiling.
Elsie has made significant progress during her recovery. She has weekly appointments with a therapist and monthly appointments with a nutritionist to set up her meal plans.
Elsie still has bad days, but they're becoming less frequent. She's getting better, and I'm proud of her.
The sound of the intercom interrupts our conversation. "We will be landing in 10 minutes. Please make your way to your seats and fasten your seatbelts."
The three of us make our way back to our seats.
As the plain starts to descend anticipation bubbles in my stomach. It's been almost two and a half weeks without Bella yet, it feels like a lifetime.

During the car ride to the hotel Jayden gives Enzo and Elsie a list of food joints and markets to hit up on the neighboring blocks.
I tune them out fairly quickly. Watching the blue dot on google maps come closer and closer to the hotel.
To Bella.
I snap back into reality when the limousine slows to a stop on the side of the road.
Grabbing our suitcases we make our way up a tight stairwell the opens up to a large section of lounge space, security guards filling the seats. One of them stands up and mumbles so shut in Italian before nodding his head.
We take a left and get to our rooms.
I'm about to walk out when my phone rings.
Bella.
Shit.
I flick the lights off before laying on the bed and answering her call. "Hey, gorgeous." She looks fucking gorgeous as always. When she pushes the phone back I see my shirt practically drowning her.
"I love your shirt." Her eyes gleam the way they always do before she says some dramatic shit.
"Thank you, some freak stole my suitcase and put it there. Figured it was to nice to burn so it's mine now."
"Mmm. What have you done today."
Bella starts to talk when Jayden knocks on the door motioning me to hurry up.
"I'll call you right back Bella, okay?"
She mumbles a response before I hang up, shoving my phone into my pocket and fall in step with Jayden.
"You better not hurt her." Jayden warns. "Never." I say. I would hurt myself before I would ever hurt her. She fuckin it for me. I realized that the moment I booked a jet to fly halfway across the world for her.
Jayden nods, "I might not be much but I have wrestlers on speed dial. I could get Roman Reigns here in an hour."
He's bullshitting, it's clear. But I nod my head anyway. As we reach the door I stand towards the side while Jayden stands directly in front of door. He lifts his arm up and bangs on the door.
"Come in!" Bella shouts. Jayden shakes his head before trying the doorknob. Locked. "It's locked."
It's silent for a moment before I can hear the jingle of the door knob.
By the time the door opens Jayden and I have swapped spots.
She stands in the doorway, a confused expression on her face. I can't help but smile as her gorgeous eyes blink up at me.
"Hey, Bella."
As if my words snap her out of her trance she slowly takes a step forward wrapping her arms around me.
"What the fuck?"
Her words have me laughing. What the fuck am I doing here? I don't waste any time dwelling on the question. The second her skin touches mine she's the only thing on my mind.
She breaks away from me and hugs Jayden. They whisper something to each other before she jumps back into my arms.
Jayden gives me a nod before turning around and heading back down the hallway.
