As she sat in the car, her mind was only on him. her mind wandered to the person who was lying in the hospital bed, his body battered and bruised, covered in blood.

She couldn't shake off the image of him, his usual bright smile and sparkling eyes now replaced with pain and weakness.
She had received the call just a few mins ago, her heart racing as she listened to the words that seemed to blur together - "blood", "hospital", "critical condition".
She had forgot shout everything. Her flight everything she forgot, her mind a jumble of emotions as she sped towards the hospital. Now, as she sat stuck in traffic, her thoughts were consumed by him, wondering what he must be going through, whether he was in pain, whether he was scared.

She thought about all the times they had spent together, the laughter, the adventures, the quiet moments when it was just the two of them.
She thought about the way he made her feel, the way he always knew how to make her smile, the way he always supported her and encouraged her to be her best self. And now, as she sat in the car, her heart aching with worry and fear, she realized just how much he meant to her, and how much she wanted him to be okay.
She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing thoughts, and focused on the road ahead, willing the car to move faster, willing herself to get to the hospital sooner, to be by his side, to hold his hand, to tell him how much she loved him, and to pray that he would be okay.

As she rushed through the hospital doors, her heart racing with every step, she couldn't help but feel a sense of panic wash over her. She had been driving for what felt like an eternity, her mind consumed by thoughts of him, lying in a hospital bed, his body battered and bruised, covered in blood.
She had no idea what to expect, no idea what she would find when she finally reached his side. All she knew was that she had to be there for him, had to hold his hand.
She sprinted down the hallway, her eyes scanning the room numbers, her breath coming in short gasps. Finally, she saw it - room 304 - and she burst through the door, her eyes scanning the room frantically. And then she saw him, lying in the bed, his face pale, his body covered in bandages, tubes and wires snaking out from under the blankets.

She felt a sob rise up in her throat as she took in the sight of him, her heart aching with worry and fear. She rushed to his side, taking his hand in hers, feeling a sense of relief wash over her as she felt his fingers wrap around hers, weakly but surely. "I'm here," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere."
She felt a sense of overwhelm wash over her, but she pushed it aside, focusing on the one thing that mattered - him.

Her heart pouring out all its love and worry and fear. "Please be okay," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "Please come back to me."

As she sat beside him, her eyes fixed on his battered and bruised body, she felt a wave of emotions wash over her, a mix of fear, worry, and desperation.
She reached out and gently took his hand in hers, feeling a sense of comfort and connection as she wrapped her fingers around his.
She looked up at the machines beeping and whirring around him, the monitors displaying numbers and readings that meant nothing to  but seemed to hold the key to his survival.

A feeling that she was powerless to do anything but sit and wait and pray. And so she prayed, her heart pouring out to God, begging Him to save the man she loved, to heal his broken body, to bring him back to her.
She prayed for strength and courage, for the ability to be strong for him, to be his rock in this dark and uncertain time.
She prayed for the doctors and nurses, for their skilled hands and knowledgeable minds, for their ability to heal and restore. And she prayed for him, for his spirit and his soul, for his will to live and his desire to fight.
She sat in silence, her eyes closed, her heart open, as she poured out her prayers to God, begging Him to hear her, to answer her, to save the man she loved.
As she sat there, she felt a sense of peace begin to creep over her, a sense of calm and tranquility that seemed to seep into her very bones.
She knew that she was not alone, that God was with her, that He was holding her hand and guiding her through this dark and difficult time. And with that knowledge, she felt a sense of strength and courage rise
