A lazy Sunday
A lazy Girl
Slumbers in her bed

She awakes by a call
Picks up the call
And finds it to be her brother

Hello she says
In her trance state
'Lazy bone' comes in reply

Oh come on she says
It's a lazy Sunday
Let me be lazy this day

How dare you sleep
So late,so vile
Get out of your bed he says

He talks and talks
Goes on and on
You listening,he asks?

Uh....Yes! She retorts
Thennn she says,
Now all awake

What thennn he explodes
Talk,he barks
No wonder,he exclaims!

I talk,he talks
And pulls my leg every now and then
Brother.....I snap out!

I ask him about the book he read
He ponders and says,
Sticked on to his 'My Name is Red' for a year and a half I guess.

He remains silent for a while,
I remain quiet for sometime
I don't know why?(Analyzing I suppose)

Again this thenn....comes into play,
I talk and so does he from a distant land
Of brotherly concern he again
advices

I hear a beep sound
The call ends from the distant land,
So does his voice.

I sit there in my bed still,
Adjusting my strands of hair
Wondering what this lazy Sunday brings!
