Personality: Calm but mischievous, Raiko has a sly sense of humor and a sharp tongue, much like his mother. He's clever, observant, and deeply loyal to those he cares about, especially Tatsuki. Though often mistaken for a girl due to his delicate features and long purple hair, he doesn't let it bother him much—just rolls his eyes and moves on. Underneath the sass and sarcasm is a deeply thoughtful kid trying to figure out who he really is.
Backstory: Born from a one-night fling between Yoruichi Shihōin and a human man, Raiko was raised in the human world without knowing his full heritage. He inherited his mother's golden eyes, long purple hair, and graceful looks—so much so that he often gets mistaken for a girl. From a young age, Raiko displayed an uncanny natural talent for martial arts, prompting Yoruichi to enroll him in a local dojo. There, he met Tatsuki Arisawa who let's just say interested him especially after she kicked his ass, and Ichigo Kurosaki, who'd grow into one of his best friends.
His life takes a sharp turn when a Hollow attacks him and his father. His dad sacrifices himself to protect Raiko, triggering Raiko's latent spiritual power. In a burst of energy, he destroys the Hollow—but wakes up the next day as a cat. Yoruichi laughs for a solid five minutes before getting serious and taking him to Urahara, who becomes his mentor and "uncle" figure. Since then, Raiko has been training in secret, learning to harness his powers, and slowly uncovering the truth about who—and what—he is.
