Luke's pov

The wedding and honeymoon were both beyond compare amazing and now it was two weeks after we had gotten back from Paris and problems were just about to arise. My band was about to go on tour and I didn't know how I was going to tell Adriana. Things had been going so good lately, late nights watching movies and cuddling, spending days out and about shopping and what not, and now I was going to be gone for about six months. I didn't know what was up with her, but lately these past few days she'd been acting just as strange as I was which made the whole atmosphere around us very awkward and filled with tension. It was Friday night and we were cuddled up on the couch about to watch Grease for the billionth time, because it was Adriana's all time favorite, and I decided I'd just come out with it already. I turned to her and surprisingly she turned to me with the same look of determination which threw me off slightly. I regained my composure and decided to just rip the band aid off.

"I'm going on tour for six months."

"I've got a modeling job in Milan." We both looked at each other with surprised expressions on our faces.

"What?" We both asked simultaneously. Adriana looked at me for me to explain first, so I took a deep breath and sighed.

"The bands going on tour for about six months first in Europe for a few months and then back to the states for the rest of it. We leave next week." I said quietly.

"I have a modeling job in Milan and then I have to go to a couple places around Europe and make a final stop in Miami before coming home. I'll be gone for a couple months , if not more. I also have to leave next week." Adriana said just as quietly. We looked at each other seriously for a couple moments before chuckling at ourselves.

"We can make it work right?" I asked in an unsure tone.  Adriana leaned up and kissed my cheek before nodding.

"Of course we can, I'm yours forever, right?" She said.

"Definitely." I said tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

The week went by a lot faster than either of us were prepared for and before we knew it we were all packed and ready to head off to the airport, where we would fly off in two totally separate directions. Well, only kind of separate considering we were both heading to Europe, just not in the same cities or towns. We took one last look at the little apartment we shared, we had gotten it when we first got back to LA, before flicking the lights off and rolling our suit cases behind us to the car. The boys were waiting for us and once we got in Michael told the driver to head to the airport. I made sure everyone had their passports, Michael forgot his last time, and let out a deep breath sinking back into my seat. The car ride was filled with laughter and a lot of dumb jokes to fill up the time, but I felt myself less engaged in the conversations and letting my mind drift of into thoughts of the unknown. I had no idea how this year was going to turn out. I had no idea how Adriana and I were going to make it through all this craziness. I sincerely hoped we did, she was the love of my life for God's sake, but I was still uneasy about the whole situation. Then again, our whole relationship was pretty unconventional, so if anybody was going to make it through shit like this it was going to be us.

"Luke, do you remember the first time we came to LA and you asked the lady at one of the shops for thongs and got really confused when she thought you were talking about underwear?" Michael asked pulling me out of my thoughts only to cause my cheeks to redden and me to nod with a grimace on my face.

"Hey, I just wanted some flip flops, not ladies underwear." I said defending myself causing the rest of the group to burst into hysterics. I crossed my arms over my chest and pouted at Adriana.

"Aw baby, don't be sad it's funny." She said running her finder over my pouted lip.

"Yeah, yeah sure it is." I said childishly. She just nudged me and I finally let up wrapping my arms around her and holding her tightly in a bear hug. She giggled and I kissed her forehead over and over smothering her in kissed causing a string of giggles to escape her lips. I swear if her laugh was the only one I heard for the rest of my life, I would die a happy man. Before I knew it we had arrived at the airport and were all taking our luggage out of the trunk. Once we were sure we had all of our bags we rolled our suitcases up to the entrance. It took forever to get through security, but by the time we finally did Adriana and I stood at the center of the airport where her plane was on one side and mine was on the other. They had started boarding for both, and she had B and I had C, so she'd be leaving first. I took both her hand in my own.

"I love you so much." She said.

"Oh baby, I love you even more." I said. They called boarding for B and Adriana looked back at the people beginning to board the plane and at me a couple times with a panicked expression on her face.

"I have to go." She said quietly.

"I know." I replied. She suddenly came at me and hugged onto me as tightly as she possibly could with a few tears falling down her cheeks here and there.

"We're going to be okay." She stated.

"I know." I said again my voice straining due to the tears I was trying to hold back. At least one of us had to be strong, and I figured it was going to be me. She pulled back and cupped my face with both of her hands before leaning in and kissing me with so much desperation and passion and I matched her intensity.

"Last call..." The overhead speaker said and I sighed. She pulled away and with one last look hurried off to catch her plane. She waved at me before she entered the tunnel and then just like that she was gone. I wiped my eyes with the back of my hands quickly and sniffled slightly before turning away and joining the boys who were all sitting with our luggage close to the entrance for our plane.

"It'll be okay, mate." Ashton said patting my back in a reassuring manor as I took a seat next to him.

"Totally, you guys will make it through this." Calum said trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah, you guys were meant for each other, nothing could mess that up." Michael added.

"I hope so."
