Yes, I’m adding this author’s note a whole year after the story was first published—but I felt it was time to share a piece of my heart with you.
This was my very first story—the one I dared to write when I had absolutely no idea how to even begin. I didn’t know the rules of writing, or even how to upload a chapter properly. But after spending years as a Wattpad reader, getting lost in billionaire CEO romances and contract marriage tropes, I thought… why not try creating one of my own?
And so, this story was born.
I know it's not perfect. At times, it might feel cliché, immature, or even a little all over the place. Trust me, I’ve thought about unpublishing it more times than I can count—especially after receiving harsh comments. But every time I stepped back, one of you somehow found your way to this little chaotic piece and reminded me why I started in the first place.
So here it is again, with a new title, but the same messy, beautiful heart.
It may not be flawless, but it's mine—and it will always remind me that beginnings are never perfect, but the journey can still be magical.
