chapter 1 : everytime you kissed me

Every time you kissed me
I trembled like a child
Gathering the roses
We sang for the hope

A long haired figure, a young girl no less then seventeen sat on a large white stone tower as she looked up at the dark blank sky singing in a sad yet beautiful way .(a/n : look at the pic in the beginning of the chapter that's pretty an example sorry that I clip the rest of the photo the rest once unnecessary since I only needed that girl in the pic .)

Your very voice is in my heartbeat
Sweeter than my dream
We were there ,
In everlasting bloom

A small girl with long brown hair and red eyes giggled as she ran around the deserted place stopping when she heard  the song of the figure 's voice . Looking up she watched in awe at the person silently listening to her sing .

Roses die
The secret is inside the pain
Winds are high up on the hill
I cannot hear you

Come and hold me close
I'm shivering cold in the heart of rain
Darkness fall
I'm calling for the dawn

Sliver dishes for the memories ,
For the days gone by
Singing for the promises
Tomorrow may bring

I harbor all the old affection
Roses of the past
Darkness falls
And summer will be gone

Joys of the daylight
Shadows of the starlight 
Everything was sweet by your side ,
My love

Ruby tears have come for me
For your last words
I'm here just sighing my song of woe
Waiting for you , my love

" so pretty ..." the small girl whispered seeing a bright shine surrounding the figure . She hid behind a broken building not wanting for the person to spot her and stop singing .

Now let my happiness sing
inside , My dream ....

"Such a pretty melody ." The small girl said as the figure looked down at an old music box playing a beautiful sounding melody . The figure seemed  to be singing along with the melody .

Every time you kissed me
My heart was in such pain
Gathering the roses
We sang of the grief

Your very voice is in my heart beat
Sweeter then despair
we were there ,
In everlasting bloom

Underneath the stars
Shaded by the flowers
Kiss me in the summer day gloom
, My love

You were all pleasure
My hope and my song
I'll be here dreaming in the past

Until you come
Until we close our eyes

As she stopped singing she closed her eyes letting a single tear fall . Frowning the girl couldn't help up feel sad for her . Stepping from her hidding stop she slowly walked a bit forward before stopping .

" don't cry ." The small girl said to her . Opening her eyes the girl looked down at her with surprised eyes before slowly closing the lid on the music box cutting off the melody .

" you ... what is a human like you doing here ? " The girl asked her looking down at the small girl with a curious look . Smiling brightly the small girl placed her hands behind her back .

" I don't know I just woke up here , human ? Are you not human too ?" The small girl ask her tilting her head to the side confused .

" no ... not anymore ." The girl answered the small child looking down at the music box gently brushing her fingers against it . Smiling brightly the small girl giggled at her .

" you really must like that music box ."  In responds the girl only nodded her head . Giggling the girl twirled around .

" I know what you are now you must be a chain . And this must be that place people keep taking about " The small girl pointed at the girl  before extending her arms out twirling around, the girl only  looked back at her with a emotionless expression.

" a chain ?" The girl asked in a whisper to  the small girl not sure at all of what she was . Nodding her head with a bright smile the small girl finally stopped twirling .

" ne what's your name ?" The small girl asked her with a gentle smile .

" name ?" The girl tilted her head to the side confused .

" you don't know your name ? Or that your a chain ?" The small girl asked her , she only shook her head with a emotionless expression . The small girl placed her fingers under her chin in deep thought before a bright look crossed her face and she clapped her hands together .

" I know !" The small girl yelled out excitedly . The girl only tilted her head a sign she was listening .

" from now on you'll be my chain ! Lacie 's chain ! You'll be Lacie' s chain !" The small girl screamed out excitedly giggling out before an  started dancing around happily repeating out , Lacie 's chain !

" Lacie 's chain ?" The girl asked the small girl who stopped dancing around turning to her with a nod and a smile . Slowly the girl smiled back down at the small girl for the first time .

" alright , I'll be Lacie 's chain ." She told the small girl smiling before she slowly and gracefully landed on the ground . Happily Lacie rushed over to her wrapping her small arms around her waist .

" are you happy now ? You won't be alone anymore." Lacie cheerfully said looking up at her chain who looked surprised at her words .  she smiled  again a carrying gentle smile down at her before wrapping her arms around Lacie .

" I am happy now ... thank you Lacie ."

Sorry it's short but in a way this is still in introduction . I just wanted to write how they meet first before going straight into the story . So what did you guys think ? No one really knows much about Lacie 's chain so I decided my main character who be  Lacie 's chain of was Lacie' s chain . But ya in my story I know the melody every time you kiss me is originally Lacie 's but I decided to write where it came from other them when Jack makes the music pocket watch for her with the melody . Anyways in a way it still is hers and her chain 's .
