Chapter Two: Training and Stuff

Amelia's POV
"Good morning Barry" I happily chirp to one of me and Owens co-workers as I hop of Owens motorbike,

"Morning Amelia" he reply's back walking over towards Owen,

"Owen you have a guy in your office wanting to speak to you about the Raptors enclosure" Barry says with an unsure voice

"right, right um Amelia can you start the raptor training please" Owen said walking towards his office

"sure thing" I reply walking towards the raptors. I grab my clicker and a bucket of dead rats as I walk up the stairs to the catwalk.

"Good morning girls!" I yell as I click the clicker a few times, I see all four of them run out of the bushes,

"ok let's start this thing" I mumble to myself. I click the click four times "all eyes on me" I say, they all look up, "hey good girls" I said surprised that they all did it,

"ok and..." I get half way through my sentence before I see Echo start to get really uneasy as she looks around that cause Blue to look towards the gate "Hey! Hey! eyes on me guys!" I say in a stern voice trying to get there attention,

I get Blues attention back but Echo seemed very uneasy "Echo! eyes on me!" I yell she turns to me and huffs, "hey cut the crap" she turns her attention back to me,

"ok let's try this again" I quietly say, "and we're moving"I say with my hand in the air clicking the clicker once or twice as I move down the catwalk to the centre and around a corner I stop next to the bucket of rats, "eyes up" I say lifting my other hand up a little. I put both my hands down and grab a rat, I look up to see Charlie looking at blue in front of her "Oi! Charlie, eyes up I said" Charlie sways from side to side for a second before stopping and looks up,

"ok Echo" I say raising the dead rat "catch" I say throwing it to her "Charlie" I say throwing another rat "Delta" I say

"and Blue this is for you" I hear Owen say behind me as he throws one to her,

"eyes up" we both say in unison both lifting our right hand up "and......go" we say both lowering our hand as the raptors ran off. I wipe my hand on the damp cloth next to the rat bucket,

"great work Amelia! How did they go at the start?" Owen says patting me on the back

"well Echo seemed very unsure about something outside the enclosure and that caused Blue to look away but I got there attention back then later Charlie started playing up but that was it" I say grabbing the empty bucket looking up at Owen who had an unsure look on his face,

"hmm Echo must of heard me and the enclosure guy arguing" he said walking down towards the stairs.

After putting everything away I walked into Owens office grabbed a water and sat down on his couch fanning myself with some paper,

"hey Owen!" I shout

"yeah!" I hear him reply

"can I talk to you please!" I shout as I see him walk in and sit down at his desk putting his feet up on it

"ya what is it?" He says

"well you taught me how to drive a car so I have my car license for on the island so I was wondering since you taught me how to fix one of your old bikes I was wondering if you could teach me to drive one" I say, Owen looks like he just chocked on air just as he opened his mouth to say something I cut him off

"because my birthday is coming up and I though that one of your old bikes and you teaching me to ride one could be my birthday present" before I could say anything else Owen reply a with

"ok we start tomorrow 6am sharp you can choose which one you want to fix up and then I will start teaching you to drive, it will only take a day so it won't matter if we don't train the girls tomorrow" Owen says standing up,

"really! oh my god thank you so much Owen" I say jumping up and hugging him,

"haha it's ok kid" he says patting my head,

"hey watch it" I say punching him lightly on the arm before walking out of his office.
