There was a deep silence,

After the storm.

The little girl's tears were dry now.

The man had stopped hurting himself.

The woman had stopped cursing them both.

After all the fault was his and the girl just happened to be here.

Lovely as the stars shone,

Lonely and hollow she grew up.

There he was again in the bookstore,

 she worked at.

Fumbling at his words , trying to make sense.

She muffled her laughter, juggled through the books.

Finally with much courage, he took her hand.

Said the words that made her world spin around.

"I know its way too soon for this but I am certain of what it is."

She looked into his eyes to look for any mallice,

Not that she could find.

"I love you" he said.

No longer could she breathe.

The world came to halt, her eyes twinkled like the morning star.

The more she thought about what he said the more her silence longed.

Maybe this was the end. End of loveless living.

A/N: This is longer!! Yaya.
