Now King Toad was a leader with honor and glory,

But it does not end there, tis just the start of the story.

For a king only knows that peace comes and it goes,

Soon his great kingdom would face boundless foes.

The king upon hearing the great battle ahead,

Gathered the troops made sure they were fed.

He placed archers aback and the cavalry at side,

He’d give the signal when it was their turn to ride.

Then marched on his army of by twos and by threes,

Amongst the tall grasses and the fallen autumn leaves.

Into the clearing where they met foe face to face,

Keeping good eyes of them all just in case.

Now the battle begun, both engaged with the fight,

It lasted for days and went on through the night.

With the enemy fatigued, and exhausted from battle,

Heard their king in defeat yell aloud “lets skedaddle!”

Now the battle was won, sweet victory at hand,

He had defended his honor. He had protected his land.
