(Jeff's POV)

I wake up and Samantha is missing,I sniff around for her,I don't smell her sent anymore.

I run downstairs,yelling her name but no answer was given.

"Sir.....we found a note at the borders.",a guard says,giving me the paper.

The note said...

Don't even try finding me Jeff...,I'm done with you,you hurt me emotionally and physically.

I just can't stand that you would hurt me.....but I hope you find your 2nd chance mate.....and don't hurt her like you did to me...

I Samantha Caroline Smith reject you,Jeff Hurley McCain as my mate.

Goodbye....Forever...
Samantha.

As I read the note,tears rolled down my eyes.

'S....she.....rejected us.....'

(Samantha's POV )

I no longer trust any man,unless it is my unborn son.

I must think of a name for him since it has now been a few months after I left Jeff...

I walk in the woods alone at midnight,I hear a growl,an Alfa was near by me.

I bow down my head,"S..sir....I come in peace,I only come to find a place to stay for now."

A huge gray wolf walks up to me,sniffs my stuff,checking for things.

He nods,then he goes behind a tree and shifts back to human form.

"How long would you be staying?",he asks.

"I don't know....,I wanted to start my own pack with my son here.",I say.

"Here?",he asks.

"Oh...no...not right here,I meant that I wanted to start my own pack somewhere.",I say,he nods.

"Where is your son?",he asks.

"He isn't born yet.",I say.

"You may stay as long as you like or need to.",he says,"what pack do you come from?"

"Blood Moon Pack.",I say.

"Oh....who is your mate?",he asks.

"He beat me...but he didn't mark me and I rejected him because of him hurting me.",I say,a tear rolls down my eyes.

"Oh...sorry....",he says.

"No.No.No....,your fine sir.",I say.

"Okay....ready to go?",he asks.

I nod,"What pack is this?,if it's okay that I may ask."

"We are the Riverside Pack,I'm Alfa Dan.",he says.

"Okay.",I say,following him.
