-Coils-

As life coiled around her,
entrenching her fragile
bones in their grip.
Struggle she did not
from its heaving
grip. For pain was the
melody of her silent cry.

Her silence screams as a
bird would cry for its mother.
Or as a sly killer silenced
his victims with out
a single shutter.

Words could not escape but
neither could her life.
Is this the description of
a wonderful life?

Death seemed to be a Devils token,
knowing what she wanted
without being spoken.
Listening silently to her
prayer.
Whispering chants of horror
and terror.

As her breath ceases to flow,
the coils tighten swallowing her whole.
For the life she has taken is as
complicated as a game
of scrabble. Timed and paced,
complicated and ravelled.

They mourn and grieve over
her dusted bones.
As the wind blows across
her stone.
The coils unravel,
withering apart, for self
destruction is what took
her heart.

Time passes without meaning,
for those who spend their days
grieving. Life goes on without a
choice, but all must remain calm,
and well poised.
