Walking in to school was pretty strange,
they were hand in hand,
the last time this happened,
it was a dare.
People were questioning him,
asking what he was doing,
he just simply smiled,
and walked away.
People no longer were shouting things at her,
people were speaking normally to her,
this time it wasn't a dare,
things were finally starting to look up for her.
Spending days and days together,
they grew closer,
he realised something incredible,
he finally loved her back.
He told her he loved her,
it got rather emotional,
Mel admitted her love for him,
as they sipped there drinks.
She asked why people used to hate her,
and what has changed,
he had told them all to back off,
and they all obeyed.
People made fun of her,
purely because of her looks,
they hated how she dyed half her hair,
and the gap in her teeth.
He found these things cute,
he just thought they added to her personality,
she couldn't care less what people thought,
she was happy now.
The clothes she wore were unusual,
not like everyone else's,
pastel shades of pink and purple,
is what she adored.
They were two very different people,
they both knew this,
they were like dark and light,
but opposites attract.
