Shadow POV
M'gann came to help me pick my stuff up. It was really nice. I live in just a "normal" old run down house in Gotham. I grab three of the six boxes and she grabs the rest. "It's going to be so cool! You'll even get to go to school with Conner and I!" she starts, "I'm called Meagan Morse the-" Rudely cutting her off I speak, "I know your also on the cheer leading squad. Have a 3.521 average and either go out to eat or buy lunch everyday.
She stares awkwardly at me. "You're a white Martian and wish to hide it from the team and burn nearly every batch of cookies you make." I covered my mouth. Not the best introduction. "Sorry. It was obviously your turn to talk how rude of me too interrupt." That would have gotten a beating. Maybe six. Interrupting Master Ra's al ghul or his daughter would deserve harsh punishment. M'gann stares, "How did you know?" she asks. "A talent of mine is that I can see things people don't want to be found out. I was trained since I was four, to dig deeper in and see everything. I'm sorry. I have little to no control." She looks sympathetically at me I recoil in disgust on the inside. Sympathy hurts, a lot. "It's okay when I got here I used my mind reading ability to communicate to the others. That didn't turn out so well." Now I get the sympathy. I understand it. When she leaves to go on a mission to Santa Prisca. I set up my room. With my punching bag and arsenal of hand weapons in a corner. I heard that the mission was a success.
No one looks happy though. We're all beat and everyone heads either to their house or room here in the mountain.
I've pressed my luck as a part time member. I'll never fit in.
Poor shadow. Question time? Should I make her fit in or not?
Hawkgirl: she should fit in my protege deserves a chance!
Me: no one asked you.
Hawkgirl: (swings mace at me)
Me: maybe if no one comments I asked you.
Hawkgirl: (flies away)
