"How are they?" Newt asked as I dabbed at Alby's forehead with the cloth before wiping my own forehead with the back of my hand. He was leaning against the doorframe for the room which seemed a bit unsafe to me especially since this place seemed like it was barely holding itself together. He looked weary and I couldn't blame him.

"You're going to have to be more specific. Thomas and Minho or Alby and the girl?" Newt smirked.

"All four of them I guess." He walked toward me and pulled up the chair Jeff had previously been sitting in. I sighed and shrugged. It was sometime past sundown. Most people were already asleep, if they could get any seeing as Alby started screaming every ten minutes, and while I was exhausted, I hadn't collapsed or passed out yet.

"Thomas and Minho seem fine. They rested, they ate. They should be okay. The girl is still out. Clint is with her now and Alby, well, you can see how he's doing." I murmured. Newt nodded. According to Jeff, Alby had thrown up right before I had come down. Jeff had cleaned it up by himself but I told him next time it happened to call me.

"I don't want you to feel sick to though." He said worriedly. I had rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm a Medjack. I'll deal with it." Jeff grinned. He was currently asleep somewhere in the Big House. Clint would come down in about half and hour it would be my turn to rest. I had talked to Clint and told him I could just sleep in the same room as the girl. If anything happened, I would probably wake up. He was hesitant but agreed.

"How long does the Changing take?" I asked Newt. He was leaning back in his chair just staring at Alby. His blond hair hung in his face and he was chewing his bottom lip.

"A couple days." He murmured.

"What happens during it?" I asked, even though I already knew. Newt shrugged.

"We don't really know. But the guys who have been through it have said it was like snippets of your old life." Newt continued looking up at me. "You get these little pieces of yourself and your old life back. You remember things and they're not always.. Good. It makes a lot of them not right in the head afterwards." He was staring at me, hard, like I had done something wrong.

"What?" I questioned.

"Gally said he remembered you and that you knew more than you were letting on." I nodded my head slowly. "And Ben seemed to think that you and Thomas.." He paused. "Killed us all."

"He was loosing it." I shrugged. I knew it was wrong to speak ill of the dead but Newt was getting suspicious... Again.

"But that's two people now Malls. I didn't realize it until right now." He glanced down at Alby and I seemed to get what he was saying.

"Are you afraid Alby will wake up and remember something Thomas and I don't?"

"No. I know he's going wake up and remember something you guys don't." I swallowed hard as he stared at me.

"Don't look at me like that." I murmured, turning away.

"Like what?" He questioned.

"Like I've killed you and everyone else in this Glade." I heard the chair scrape as he got up. Then his hand was on my shoulder but I still didn't look at him.

"That's not how I'm looking at you." I looked up at him surrounded but he was already walking away. What did he mean?

--

"I'm here to relieve you of your Alby duties." Clint said quietly, entering the room. I sighed in relief. "Are you sure you'll be okay up there with that other girl?" He asked worriedly. I nodded my head.
