Hiya! So, I'm turning off the writer's block for my other stories (the same writer's block that's had me for MONTHS) and writing this one. "Leave! Leave now, Lili!" He screams at me, a Wendigo bearing down on him. "If you want to get out alive, run for your life!" His stomach is literally ripped into, blood spattering everywhere around him. I choke down my tears, watching the man whom I love more than anything die right before my eyes. "RUN!" He screams.
After fighting the urge to interfere with a situation that shall only kill me, I finally listen to him, and I run as fast as one plausibly can. Though the cave winds and is obnoxiously long, I manage to escape it, leaving what feels like my entire life behind.
No... I fall to my knees just outside the cave. Why... why did I have to make it out? Why was I the only one to make it to the other side? Why?!
As I cry, a hissing sound pulls me out of my thoughts, which makes me run again, this time for town. It may be nearly fifteen miles away, but I'll make it... I... I have to. For Cooke... for Cooke.
