"You are so beautiful" I hear James, my all time crush, say.

Blushing, I look at him, intently, coming a bit forward, he pushes me, clasping Natalia's hand.

Shocked, I stare awkwardly. "Natalia" he completes his sentence.

Waking up, instantly, I stare at the mirror, in front of me "Now I know, why he chose her" I mutter, softly, making my way to the washroom.

Brushing my teeth, I look at my self. I wouldn't say, I hated my self, I was fine with how I looked, but, Natalia was just better.

Patting my face dry, I sit on my bed, checking my social media.

My attention shifts to the door as I hear the door click, and in front of me, was my mom.

"The Webster family, will be joining us for dinner tonight, I would like you to clean your room"

"Mom, they aren't gonna enter my room" I say, rolling my eyes.

"Just do it" my mom says, calmly.

"Mom, you aren't advertising, Nike clothing"

"Just do it" I imitate, laughing.

Sighing loudly, she stares at the mistake she created, aka, me.

Grinning, thinking about her thoughts, I turn around. "I'll do it"

"And, please stop being so lame" she says, shutting the door.

Giggling, I sit on my bed. It is not my fault, I'm all for lame jokes.

I start with my bed and arrange all my clothes in the cupboard, closing it, a book falls flat on the ground, my diary, opening it, I read, the first page.

Closing the diary, I sigh loudly, a bit sad. Pushing my self up, I hide the diary, behind all my video games, the only safe area.

Wearing my usual half tomboy half girly attire, I make my way to Melanie's home.

I blow the horn thrice, which signaled, 'I'm here' in our book of rules.

After a few more minutes of blowing, she finally gets out.

"What took you so long?" I ask her, angrily.

"I kind of dozed off in the middle" she says, giving me her awkward smile.

A few things, you should know about Melanie

Loves to sleep and is always up for a fight, smiling a bit, I start the car.

I and Melanie, had met, exactly 1 year after my meeting with James, and the two, have been a very important part of my life.

As the signal turns red, I fish into my bag, searching for the chocolate doughnuts, I had bought, before picking up Melanie.

"Will you ever stop eating those?" Melanie asks, irritated.

"Well, before I die? No!" I grin, taking a huge bite.

"Vacations gonna start!" She screams with excitement, after a few minutes of silence.

"I know!" I join in.

"By the way, I've heard, the principal, is planning to organize a summer camp" she looks at me, with a smirk.

"When does he not?" I laugh. "He should seriously learn, how to organize a summer camp"

"True that" she says, smiling.

Our principal, is best known for organizing stupid summer camps. How much ever, it is with good intentions, they always end up boring.

The only benefits are, the activities in the summer camp, give you extra credit, which is really helpful.

Entering inside the parking lot, I park my car, in the first place I spot.

Walking in, my eyes fall on all the papers lying on the ground. Picking one, I start reading the flyer.

"What's better than one? Two!

Get ready for the summer camp of your life. Double the schools, double the fun.

Submit your name now"

"Are you kidding me" I laugh, as I read the flyer.

"We should totally go for it" I hear the sarcasm in Melanie's voice.

"Yeah, we should" I laugh.
