My thoughts
In my opinion I think that African American hair is beautiful! Everyday many African American women are going natural and embracing their hair. But first let me get this stereotype out of the way...Not all African American women wears weave!! Not saying that weave is a bad thing. Some women might just want it to grow their hair (Yes! Our Hair grows too!! And we can brush it!!!)
But the best thing is that you can go either way with our hair you can straighten it or make it curly by just adding some water! Sure it might be a struggle sometimes but everyone has bad hair days.
I love my hair and wouldn't change it for anything.
