Elena POV

Just as I begin to bring my head up, I hear the door open.
Jason
"Hello, Darling!"
"Hello, Sweetheart."
He comes up and gives me a hug. I look back down at my clients.
"I'm so sorry for the interruption. This is my fiance. Jason."
Damon stands up and hold his hand out.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Damon and this is Carly."
After all of the introductions, we sit down. This is probably the most awkward situation I've ever been in.
Jason is the first one to speak.
"I'm very sorry for interrupting. But I was going to take Elena out to eat."
"You can wait out in the hall, I'll be out in a little bit."
He gives me a quick kiss on my cheek and leaves. Then I look back to Carly.
"Is there something special you would like in the design?"
"I was wondering if you could put a neckless in the design. I forgot to bring it today, but I could bring it to you later."
"That would be great. Once I get it, I'll start on the designs right away. Mr.Montgomery do you have anything you would like to be in the designs?"
He looks at me with his blue eyes. He shouldn't be here. I was never suppose to see him again in person.
"No. I just want you to do your best."
"I assure you, my workers do nothing but their best. Thank you for coming. It was very nice meeting both of you."
I at least have to pretend not to know him. I give Carly a hug and I just nodded at Damon. He looks so good in a tux.
"Maybe we could meet up some time, so I can give you my neckless."
"Sure! Goodbye."
Once there both our of my office, I take a deep breath. Crisis averted. I pick up my bag and I go to Jason.
"Ready to go?"
"Yes, baby."
Then we walked hand in hand to our favorite restaurant.

Damon POV

I can't believe it was really her. After all these year, I finally found her. I know I said I didn't want to see her again, but it would be been nice knowing that she was doing alright.
She's getting married.
I'm getting married.
My mom introduced me and Carly. She seemed quite nervous, like she was keeping a secret. But I know she would to nothing to hurt me.
I need to talk to Elena. It's time to bury the old hatchet.
