Siren song

I woke up in my room. I could've swore that I'd been kidnapped. Oh well, I guess I'm just paranoid. I saw that it was time to get to school. I looked at myself in the mirror like always, but there was something different. I liked what I saw a little more then usual. Man I looked good. I've never looked this good before. And my hair had grown to waist length in two days. I'd have to cut it if kept growing like this. I went to school like usual, no longer mad at Peter and Sam. I also found myself a little flirtier then usual. I wasn't shy like I normally would be. The guys also seemed to like me better. I was hit on at least 4 times before getting to class. I sat down next to Sam like normal in homeroom. Sam hit on me too. "Hey (Y/N), I see you missed me." I flicked his nose and said "seems like you missed me too." I winked at him before flipping my newly long hair. He blushed ever so slightly, marveling the beauty that is me.

I walked into my next class which was one with the web warriors. As I walked between the I could see the guys marveling at me. I winked at Dash when I caught him staring at me and flipped my hair before sitting down next to Ava. "What was that all about (Y/N)." I smiled a sickly sweet smile and said "I can't help it that I'm popular."(I love you if you caught that reference). I saw the rest the team looking at me too, but why wouldn't they, I'm gorgeous.I batted my eyelashes at them blowing each a kiss before turning back to Ava. Ava looked at me disgusted "no offence, but no you're not. Are you brain washing them or something cause that's really not cool." I scoffed at her "am I singing, no, so I'm not brainwashing them. I'm simply beautiful. I think you're just jealous because your such a hard a$$ and no guys are into you." She was obviously irritated with me "I'm not jealous, because this isn't you, I've only known you for two days but I know this isn't you. I know you're not shallow." I rolled my eyes at her "the guys are just into me, so accept it, Mabey if you had a little fun instead of being such a jealous b*tch people would like you better." She was obviously losing it because her eyes were changing color and becoming more cat like. "What did you call me." I gave her a sly smile and said "do you mean hard a$$, or jealous b*tch." She pounced on me and we started fighting. She cut my cheek while I pulled her hair. Before we could continue principle came in and broke us up. He dragged us into the principles office and sat us down.

It's all going according to plan. The Siren's true nature is showing. Vain, beautiful, bewitching, lustful. Its all there, she can't resist her own powers. She will push everyone away and in doing so, will make it easy to capture her. Thanks to this blood sample of hers we got from the frightful four. The serum gave her the mythological creature's abilities, now it'll make her every bit like a siren bewitching men.

I stuck my nose up at Ava as we were sat down next to each other. Principle Coleson came in with Nick Fury. Nick said " (Y/N), you're dismissed." I smiled at her and she was obviously offended. Like usual, I flipped my newly long hair and walked out of the office. I was very happy with all the male attention I was getting. It was even keeping me out of trouble. Yes, I definitely approved. I was walking to class since there was still some information I needed to get for homework. I stopped at every reflective surface I came across to check myself out and I approved of everything I was seeing. I was about to go into the bathroom until everything went black.

I woke up in a room that looked familiar. I was in chains and a bandanna was in my mouth muffling me. I started struggling until I saw a figure approach me and say " good morning sleeping beauty, it's doctor octopus." I shot him a glare since I couldn't say anything. The 8 armed guy came out and one of his robotic arms grabbed my face. "Oh, I can see you're at a loss for words. You see you're my prettiest specimen. I don't think you've noticed that I'm immune to your spell. You're siren song won't affect me, but it's better safe then sorry. My superior wants to come and see what were dealing with. I'm going to make an entire army out of you, you're friends can't come and get you, the girl is upset with you, and the boys don't even care you're gone. Your beauty alone can bewitch men, and this little serum here exposed the true nature of you. I just need your blood to make a siren super army. You'll be back to normal but I'll have the very thing that makes you super destroy you."

He let go of my chin and I shot him a more intense glare. I looked him straight in the eye and strangely enough, I saw his dreams, fears, nightmares, and his....essence. His spirit was unstable. Very unstable, and I felt like I could manipulate him. I kept looking at him, and his expression changed. He looked devastated and confused. He then pulled back his eyes glowing and he was covering his eyes in fear. "NO, PLEASE, MAKE IT STOP!!!" I realized what I was doing. I was manipulating his mind. His spirit was unstable, which made him weak. I easily manipulated him into seeing his worst fears, it was like he was living them.
I stopped looking at him and softened my glare. He came back to reality, and it felt like I had too. Why would I push all of my friends away. Why would I try to reduce all these guys. What was wrong with me, then another voice said, nothing is wrong, nothing is wrong at all. I tried to recall everything I knew about sirens. They could not only manipulate your desires, but your mind in general, they were masters of song and of the mind.

I then grew scared of myself. I created a male zombie army, and pushed away one of my best female friends. Oh no. I saw doctor octopus on the ground looking in shock, and really pale. I saw the keys near me, and next to them a needle to inject myself with, I couldn't risk hurting anyone else, so I had to get rid of my powers.
I took the keys and freed myself, then took the needle. I injected myself. I screamed, seeing my veins glow blue. I suddenly felt weak and stumbled, through blurry vision I could make out 6 figures. I then heard a faint "are you okay," before feeling a warm body and passing out.

I woke up to a constant beep in the S.H.I.E.L.D infirmary on a medical bed. I looked around and saw a ticked off Ava and 5 guys sitting across from me. I weakly sat up and said "what happened." Nick stood up and said "we found these next to a panicking doctor octopus." He held up plans to make a siren super army and the needle I had injected myself with full of my blood, or what was my blood now slowly glowing blue. Then it all came back. I abruptly stood up then stopping when felt my arm in pain and I was connected to a machine. I looked at ava and said "I'm sorry, I was such a b*tch to you, and I know it was the serum but, I can't believe I said those things to you." Her sharp glare softened and she came over and hugged me "it's fine, I could stand to have a little fun sometime, and I know you didn't mean it." We pulled apart and smiled at each other.

I turned to the guys and said "and I'm sorry for seducing you guys, I didn't know what I was doing." The all gave me a group hug and said variations of "it's fine, it's cool and we forgive you." I'm glad I had my friends back, but a part of me was kind of sad I wasn't going to have powers anymore. I asked nick "what about my powers?" Nick said "what about your power. You didnt lose them." I asked "wait,what, but the needle. I injected myself." He said "doctor octopus hadn't perfected the serum yet, what that needle did was extract the excess serum and stabilized your powers. Meanwhile the excess serum is also going to create another venom like creature. But instead of rampaging like Spider Man's, yours will control many minds at once making it more dangerous. We're taking the veil into custody." I was amazed, my powers were now stable. That means I dont have to worry about accidental mind control,vanity, or lust. I hugged Nick and said "thankyou so much Nick." He looked surprised for a second, but quickly regained his composure and cleared his throat. He walked out without another word. I took a look at myself on the mirror. I didnt like how long my hair had gotten, but if I pulled it over my chest, i'd look like a mermaid. They guys, Ava,and I talked a little longer before they left and I decided to get some rest so that i could be back on the field tomorrow morning.
