Lauren's pov

I woke up to the sun seeking through my curtains I got up and went to the bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth and pulled my hair into a ponytail I was just about to leave out when I got a text from London my 11 year old sister

Text convo

London- hey I really wish you would come get me I don't like it here she hits me she abuses me she doesn't love me ...
Lauren- I am today pack your stuff I'll be there in an hour don't let her know what's going on
London- omg!! Finally I can't believe it I love you so much
Lauren - love you too now hurry I'll be there ok
London- ok bye

I quickly got dressed in some nike sweats .
I went outside to my Benz I know what your thinking but I look older for my age so the cops don't test me.
I pulled up to my moms house I really didn't like the neighborhood I texted London to come out and 2 minutes later she did she had to big suit cases I got out the car and put her bags in the trunk then opened the passenger side door for her I got in and quickly drove away before anyone saw us .

London- i missed you so much! ( she said throwing her arms around me)

Me- I missed you too baby sis I said with a big smile which faded when I saw her eye what happened to your eye ! I said furious

London- mom well Laura threw me into the fish tank she said looking down

Me- why didn't you tell me I would've got you sooner

London- I didn't wanna disturb you your life seemed perfect I didn't wanna mess up your priorities .

Me -London you are my priority don't you get it your my #1 priority I love you more than I love myself and I'm glad your coming with me I said gently as I pulled up to my building . I grabbed her bags and walked in I sat her bags down and told her to wash up for dinner once she was clean I made her her favorite food tacos she ate like she hadn't ate in years. After she was done we cleaned up and went to my room we sat in my bed while I braided her hair we talked I told her that now she has to sleep in my room but Tomorrow we will move out of the apartment and into a house she was very excited to have her own big clean room I was happy to be with my sister after a while of talking and laughing she asked me what I did for a living I couldn't help but tell her to truth I would never lie to my best friend. I told her about me selling drugs and she was ok with it and understanding. I was happy that she was here after a while she fell a sleep on me I felt safe with her and I knew she felt the same
