The nights become longer
The quiet becomes violent
Yet all you can do is sit in silence
You're drowning inside and you cannot escape
But nobody will care so you use a smile you can fake
You can't feel a thing
You've become hollow and numb
But nobody understands so you just act dumb.
You think it's getting better but it all gets worse
But nobody can really see how much you are hurt
So you continue on and live day to day
With a never ending sadness you wish to go away
And here's to all the ones that can relate
You have a life like mine you that you wish you could escape.
