The first few months y/n and I were dating were fairly uneventful as far as relationships go, but they were still amazing. We would study together, take walks around campus, hang out in each others dorms, and every Sunday night we would go to Mickeys Diner.

After four months we got bored of our classes and campus, so we decided to ditch school and catch a cab into the city.

We didn't have anywhere specific we wanted to go, so we just told the cab driver to drop us off near the middle of the city. He ended up leaving us a block away from the aquarium and y/n was so excited when she saw the building, so we just had to go.

Y/n pretty much ran the entire way, almost getting hit by a car when she crossed the street. When we went inside it was almost empty, except for a family and some elderlies.

The first tank was huge, it took up an entire wall and was filled with a bunch of different types of fish. Y/n wrapped her arm around mine and just looked at the fish. She stared at them for the longest time, y/n leaned her head against my shoulder and opened her mouth slightly.

She was mesmerized by the fish, but I was mesmerized by her. She looked so beautiful the way the blue light from the tank lit up her features.

After awhile she looked up at me and said we shouldn't spend all of our time just looking at one set of fish.

As soon as we stepped into the next room she grabbed my hand and rushed towards a tank full of jellyfish.

We went around the entire aquarium, ending in a tunnel below one of the larger tanks. We could see all of the fish swimming above and around us.

Y/n stopped looking at the fish and looked up at me. I leaned down and we kissed for what seemed like forever.

Afterwards, without even think about it I told her I loved her. This was the first time either of us had said that, I didn't mean to, but I also didn't regret it after I said it.

She immediately said it back and we kissed again.
