well seeing as I'm using wattpad as a way to try out and express myself in different ways other than journalistic and blogs, I thought I'd attempt to write a poem. it's not that good but as always, all feedback is much appreciated.

to have an to hold
that's what they say right?
I know we ain't there yet
but one day we just might..
and I'm kidding myself
thinking of being with you
you're always on my mind
and I don't know what to do.
yeah we talk and converse
but that just ain't enough
and yeah I try act hard
but I really ain't tough.
want you to be the one
to hold me when I'm down
to love me, to touch me
and always be around.
but like I said before this is only a dream
and the truth of the matter is
things ain't exactly what they seem.
so I'm stuck in this cycle of want and need
and I know its a long shot
and you'd probably agree..
but still ima wait
and hopefully you'll see
that I'm the only one for you
and you're the only one for me.
