Tip- Have fun learning. Make it fun. If you haven't already read it, i made a chapter called Motivation, it has some fun ideas!
Tip- Practice everyday, using alot of sources. I would recommend practicing for 15 min to an hour. You can use my guide, YouTube, you can by a dictionary, use other books, take classes at your school. There's lots of different sources you can look into. Just don't forget about this source!
Tip- Absorb yourself into Japanese culture. Like the music, movies, tv shows, dramas, anime, manga. Lots of stuff!
Something to Avoid- Shortening long vowels or words. For ex: おばあさん or, obaasan. It mean s grandmother. There is a similar word to this, おばさん or, obasan. The difference is i made it shorter, which gives it a different meaning. Obasan means aunt. So if you want to say grandmother, then DON'T say obasan, DO say obaasan. And if you want to say aunt, then DON'T say obaasan, DO say obasan. I hope that made sense, cause im not good at explaining things. So don't shorten long vowels or words!
