Unexpected love {Luke hemmings}

Niall came back a few months later, we don't live together but he did stay a while at my house but when he set foot in the house, lucky Finn and Ava were asleep, I ran into his arms I was just so happy.

"I have missed you so much ni"

"I have missed you too El" I kissed him then he put me down.

"You look different, but I can't put my finger on it" he was just messing with me.

I decided to just go alone with it "Yeah I don't really feel any different at all"

"Yeah there just is something" he his finger on his lip and walked all around me pretending to think.

I turned side ways "maybe it's the fact I don't have basketball looking belly anymore"

"I think that might just be it." Niall laughed "where are they at the moment any ways?"

"Asleep but are due to be.." On cue the crying started.

"Now?"

"Yeah I guess so" Niall and I walked up to there room and I grabbed a crying Finn and Niall grabbed a grizzling Ava.

"Just hold her on your chest and move around a bit, it always seems to calm her, I will be back in a minute to help, just let me just deal with him" he did as I said and I went to deal with Finn.

"Awh finny its ok, is it just time for a feed?" I looked at the wall clock and saw they both should have been fed an hour ago.

"No wonder you guys are crying you both are hungry little guys" I took him to the kitchen with me as I made his and Ava's bottles.

"Here you go, lil bubba" I took his dummy out and put the bottle in his little mouth. Been doing it for a few months now and I still do a little happy dance when i get them to stop crying.

I stuffed Ava's bottle into my back pocket and walked into the lounge room. I don't think she will be needing it though because she was fast asleep in niall's arms, and he was singing to her.

"Your a natural Niall I must say" I whispered

"Thanks EL, I do have a theo remember?"

"You do to" I laughed awkwardly forgetting all about theo, who was actually two now.

"I know this is so cruel and she does look very peaceful in you arms ni, but she does need to have a feed"

"Yeah i can do, where is her bottle?"

"My back pocket" I turned so he could grab it out.

Niall then sat on the couch and lay Ava so she was laying in the groove of his two legs, as he fed her, her bottle.

"They are both very sweet babies El"

"Thanks ni, I try my hardest. Sorry to just throw you into bottle duty already, you've been back not even 5 minutes" I whispered trying not to wake the two half asleep babies,

"It's fine i don't mind"

We sat in silence for a few minutes before Niall broke it.

"El I have a question"

"What is it?"

"Who is the father of finn and Ava?" I sighed before telling him, I knew this was going to have to be said at some point.

"My ex-boyfriend his name was luke, he was a great guy but I just didn't see him as a father so I broke it off" well not exactly how it happened, I kind of just stopped talking to him all together, doesn't even know they are in my arms.

"That's no good, at least you have me now. I would be a great dad like figure" he gave me his signature smile, and I smiled back.

"I sure do, I am very happy with that" that I wasn't lying.

"Would you like to go down to that park with the twins and I? I normally go for a run with them in the Pram, I gotta lose this baby fat some how" I laughed patting my now fat stomach.

"I would love that El. would you like to have a little picnic?"

"Yeah why not, you get the food you wanna take and I will go get the the twins ready"

"Sounds like a plan" I gave him a quick kiss as I took Finn in one arm and Ava in my other, lucky there still small enough for me to that.

The twins were in there pram and I was pushing them along with Niall beside me, it was a beautiful summers day the sun was shining.

"Isn't it a wonderful day for a walk El"

"Sure is"

After walking for about 30 minutes we found a place under a tree to have our little picnic.

The twins were out of the pram and were laying on the blanket between Niall and I.

"Ella you know I love you right"

"Yeah of course I do, I love you too ni"

"I'm not proposing but I did want to give this to you" he took out a ring box. "This Ella is a promise ring. I am promising to you that I will look after you and Finn and Ava to the best of my abilities. I love you very much Ella and I love our little family even if the twins aren't mine by blood I will treat them as if they are. I don't want to lose you"

It was a simple little silver ring which had the engraving in it 'I promise you Ella"

I AM SO SORRY THIS IS SO LATE

so 1D are going to be taking a break as of March next year, sad but I am happy it is very well deserved they have been doing what they have been doing for so many years with out a major break.
