I slowly walked towards the kitchen, making my heart beat in my ears. As I got into the kitchen, the figure was gone. I started panicking so quickly, the basement door opened. I slowly walked down the stairs but something slammed the door. As I got my fashlight from my back pocket, I heard crying. As I got to the bottom of the stairs, there was a little girl sitting in the corner crying. I tried to reach for her but it grabbed my hand. I ran up the stairs making sure that the thing wasn't near me. I opened the door and slammed it shut. As I was almost relief, the front door opened and I saw my family. As I ran to them to hug them, I realised I was on the floor.
