Chapter 9

Chapter 9:

So. Selena danced with Nathan. We ended with Nathan saying that he didn't dance with Selena because she didn't go, when she did. Let's go hear what Selena has to say.

Selena's POV:

I woke up, and got ready for school. I grabbed my things, and walked out the front door. As I was walking to school, it started to thunder, and I didn't have a jacket. I ran the rest of the way to school, and entered the building right when it started to pour down. I walked to my locker, and got everything out that I needed for the morning classes. It was too early to go to class, so I just stayed standing at my locker, with my back against it. Then up came Allison, Dana, Chase, and Adam. Adam was holding Allison's hand, and Chase was holding Dana's hand. I then spoke up, " Why you people holding hands? "

" Me and Chase are together now, " Dana told me.

" Same. Me and Adam are together, " Allison said.

" You guys have boyfriends, but I can't even go to a dance, without having to leave at a certain time! " I exclaim.

" Hey. You were the one who set up the time for yourself, " Dana mummbled.

" Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know, " I replied, and walked into Science. I sat down at my seat, and opened up my notebook to the very last page. I loved to draw, and I want to be a fashion designer when I grow up. I was working on a dress. Like one you would wear to Prom. It was like an aqua color, with silver heels. When the class started walking into the room, I closed my notebook, and put it away.

Later on, after the teacher came in, the announcements went on. After we did the before announcements thing, there was only one announcement. It was something about Nathan dancing with a girl, and he was going to go around asking girls if it was their mask, becuase when the girl turned around, her mask fell off, blah, blah,blah.

After we did some of our experiment in Science, it was time for lunch. The reason it was time for lunch was because we had Science all morning. I went to my locker, grabbed my lunch, and met up with Dana and Allison at our lunch table. Right beside Nathan, Jay, Siva, Max, and Tom. Although, Nathan wasn't sitting with them. When Nathan was at one of the tables beside us, Dana spitted out her water, once she saw what Nathan was holding. " What the heck Dana?! " I yelled. She pulled Allison and I in a huddle, a strange huddle because we were sitting down, but, she pulled us into a huddle.

" Selena. Nathan's holding your mask! " She whisper/shouted.

" What? That's impossible! " I yelled at her, loud enough the boys beside us heard.

" Yes it is! Look at what Nathan's holding! " she whisper/shouted again. I turned my head to where Nathan was, and sure enough, he was holding my mask.

" Maybe someone else had the same mask as me? " I questioned, but she shook her head.

" Nope. No one had a mask like yours. You danced with Nathan last night! " She whisper/yelled.

" Well I'm making sure he doesn't find out that it was me he danced with, " I stated, and went back to eating my lunch.

When I was done, I got up, threw away my garbage, and walked to my locker, and put my lunch-bag away. I then walked into 5th period: English.
