Chapter Four

~Annie~

Bert came over to my place after I left Armin's to give me some essential supplies.

"Thanks" I said.

"Well I gotta go, Marco has some
notes for me" Bert said

"It's okay bye Bert" I said.

"Bye, Ann" Bert said.

He left my hide away.

I kept doing my homework.

I wasn't thinking straight.I slapped myself in the face multiple times.

I still was thinking about Armin.

He wasn't an asshole.Most guys in Wall Rose are.Well, all of the ones I've met.

I'm suprised that he doesn't hate me.

Other than Jean and Reiner no one at Titan High has seen me in Titan Form.

I should've killed him.No then I would have so much guilt.

Ugh.

I kept doing my homework even though I was distracted.

I finished my homework in an hour.

I left my hide away and walked around town.

It was Saturday so no one had classes so I could go hang out with Armin.

Again.

No, I would seem to clingy.I could go back to the diner and get more food.

Or I could just walk around.That's what I decided to do.

Since it was really warm mostly everyone in town was outside.

I passed tons of glaring students and whispering mothers.

By now everyone in Wall Rose probably knew that I was the Female Titan.

Two little kids ran into me.

They looked up and screamed.They ran back to their mother and started crying.

"Mommy she's going to kill us!" The little girl cried.

I ignored them and walked away.

I walked to the edge of town and sat down under a big oak tree.

"Hey! Watch It! It's that Titan Chick" A guy yelled.

I looked in the guys direction.

It was a bunch of guys from school.

I glared at them and they ran off.

I deeply breathed through my nose.

I closed my eyes and leaned head against the oak tree.

Before I knew it I had fallen asleep.

I felt someone kick my side.I jumped up because of my reflexes.

It was Eren and Jean.

"Huh, you're not dead" Jean said.

"What do you two want?" I asked.

"For you too give our friend back" Eren said.

"Who, Armin?" I said.

"Who else" Jean said.

"I didn't take him away from you" I replied.

"Really? Then why does he only have your back and no one else's?" Eren said.

"I don't know.I don't even know why" I said.

"Maybe he feels indebted to you.Since you didn't kill him" Jean said.

"I didn't kill you either" I snapped.

"Oh, yeah" Jean said.He awkwardly scratched the nape of his neck.

"Or he likes you" Eren said.

"Pah, no way" I said.

This went from heated to awkward in 5.2 seconds.

The only reason I didn't kill Armin is because I care for him.

Jean on the other had, I just didn't feel like it.

"Well I have to go" I said.

I started to walk away but Eren grabbed my wrist and pulled me back to the oak tree.

"You will not speak to Armin about this and you won't speak to Armin unless you want to wind up dead in some ditch" Eren said.

I easily shook out of his grasp and walked away.

I can talk to Armin as much as I please.He's my..my..friend.

That is what he'll always be.

He wouldn't want to end up with a monster like me anyways.
