Chapter 2

No one POV

"Wow. Chanyeol, I thought you said it was used." Man A said.

"My parents rebuilt it since it was too run down. They went overboard though." Chanyeol said.

"Hyungs." Man C said.

The three looked over to the other. They looked confused since he looked sad.

"There's no bed." He said.

"D.O. says the beds will come tomorrow." Chanyeol said.

"Mm. So, Sehun, wait." D.O. said. "Just make it do. Baekhyun, the lights so we can sleep."

Baekhyun nodded and took the remote. He turned the lights off and everyone went to sleep.

Chanyeol, on the other hand, was awake. He walked over to the rocking chair.

"Grandpa, I'm back." Chanyeol said.

Jieun woke up the next morning. It was six in the morning. She walked downstairs to make breakfast.

At eight, her aunt woke up and then came down with her little brother, Taehyun. Both started to eat when Jieun sat down.

"Jieun." Her aunt said.

Jieun looked up and over to her aunt. She was eating and so was Taehyun.

"When you see the moving van, give this to them." Jieun's aunt said. "Also, make sure to change into something nice. First impressions are the best."

Jieun nodded again. Taehyun went to his room to do some stuff with the coat rack and their aunt headed off to work. Jieun was on the couch watching TV waiting for the doorbell to ring.

A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. Jieun grabbed the card and then headed over to the door.

Two men bowed at Jieun with smiles. Jieun bowed too and gave them the key. She felt disgusted since it was Chan's grandpa's house and there was going to be ugly looking people living in the house.

Jieun walked to Taehyun's room and then knocked on the door. No one answered so Jieun just walked in.

Taehyun wasn't there so she headed downstairs. She opened the door and then headed over to the tent in front of the house. Jieun opened it up.

"Noona." Taehyun said.

"Call auntie." Jieun said.

"The people came?" Taehyun asked.

Jieun nodded and they both headed inside. Taehyun called their aunt and then Jieun took over in listening. Taehyun answered for Jieun.

"Noona, can you also make me some rice cakes?" Taehyun asked.

Jieun nodded with a smile. She started to cook in the kitchen while Taehyun was doing something with the rack.

Taehyun looked outside the window. She stared at the people next door and then over to the TV. He did that several times before heading over to his sister.

"Noona." Taehyun said.

Jieun was wrapping the box as she looked up to Taehyun. She stared straight into his eyes indicating that she's listening.

"The neighbors next door are really handsome." Taehyun said.

Jieun gave Taehyun weird looks. Taehyun grunted and then looked back outside.

"I'll be right back." Jieun texted Taehyun. "Call Gayoung too."

Taehyun checked his phone and then went to go make the phone call. Jieun walked over to the house feeling a bit sad for some reason. She knew why but she had to hold it in.

She rang the doorbell hoping someone would answer quickly. No one did so she opened the door.

Jieun looked around feeling sad since it wasn't like this before. She walked over to the kitchen table and then set the box down.

"Where are they?" Jieun mumbled.

Chanyeol and D.O. walk over to the couch where Baekhyun was sleeping. Sehun was on the floor in his sleeping bag.

"Are they dead?" Chanyeol questioned.

"Sleepyheads!" D.O. yelled.

"Hey, wake up!" Chanyeol said hitting Baekhyun with a pillow then over at Sehun. "Wake up!"

Baekhyun and Sehun got up. Baekhyun stretched a bit while Sehun stood still with bedhair.

A strong smell came across the four EXO members. They sniffed the smell.

"Guys, I think I smell something." Baekhyun said getting up.

"It smells nice." Sehun said turning to his hyungs.

"Maybe the managers brought us something." Baekhyun said.

"I'm hungry. So hungry." Sehun said hopping over the couch.

The four members headed over to the kitchen. Sniffing their way to the good smell of food.

D.O. stopped and back a little away when he reached the dinning room. Chanyeol also moved back since he was behind D.O. and Bakehyun also retreated. Sehun did the same.

"Hey, someone's in the kitchen." Baekhyun said.

All four bent over and peeked at the girl. Chanyeol couldn't take it anymore so he walked in. The other three walked in with him.

"Who are you?" Chanyeol questioned.

Jieun looked over to them in shock. She looked around at the four staring at them.

She felt stiff at the sight of them. Chanyeol stared at Jieun. It was like lasers.

"Who are you?" Chanyeol repeated.

"I...I'm your next door neighbor." Jieun said.

"What did you say?" Sehun questioned.

"I made some rice cakes." Jieun said softly.

"So? Who are you?" Chanyeol repeated once more.

Jieun started to get scared. She didn't know what to do. She started to look around for something to distract them.

Jieun took the box and threw it at them. Chanyeol was hit in the face and the box fell to the ground.

"I'm sorry." Jieun said before leaving.

Baekhyun, Sehun, and D.O. walked out and then stared at the door. Baekhyun then turned to his members.

"That's our neighbor?" Baekhyun questioned. "She has a really soft voice."

"Right? I couldn't even hear her." Sehun said.

"She's cute too." Baekhyun also added.
