Chapter 1: Prey

The birds chirped happily following after one another in the air. Children played with each on the streets, running and laughing widely. The sun shone wide and brightly eminating its courage. But a certain girl standing behind a tall black door that has deep golden symbols shining. A deep entake was heard with a soft audible outake. 'Here I go...' she thoughts and knocks then pushes the door open with a wind of determination. Once inside, the room was huge. Black ivory wooden dresser was on the left of the room with a walking closet accompaning it. On the right, a good-size door way heading to the bathroom fit for the royals. And in the center was a black ivory Queen size brd that can hold up to fifteen people. "Shiku is that you?" A light voice called. Shiku, gasp and replied "Yes mother...it is I" Shiku was sixteen of age, her hair was long, soft to the touch and was black as night. Her eyes a golden yellow that have a light green in them. Her body structure was small and fragile looking. Her skin was tan and soothe.
Shiku bows as he mother, looking like her smiles. "Well here we are.....are you ready?" The Queen ask looking into her daughter eyes. Her daughter nods, and takes her mother hands. They walk out of the bedroom and down the hallway to the library. The doors open, and inside was huge. Books was stack neatly from ABC on every bookshelf, over one thousand anciet books dealing with everything in life and the past.
A small gasp escapes Shiku lips, she have not stepped into the library ever. She was forbidden to, her eyes wondered all over the place. "Shiku this way?" Her mother called and she followed closely. Her mother explain to her that this library was standing here for thousands of years. She flicked her wrist and a large book followes her to the long good size oak table. Shiku was nervous beyond no return but she does not let it show. "Here it is The Book of Gifts" the book that her mother had followed her was indeed a thick book, it was like red velvet but much darker had black writing that was very clear. "So for this lesson we nees to find your gift and this book will help you" Shiku looks at the book then her mother and smiles nervously.
"Move!" A boy says as he runs down the street to the nearby hall. He was in a hurry...something was happening and he needs to be there. He finally gets thier and looks around anxiously. A light movement errupted from the corner of his eyes and he runs towards it. "Hey Shin, sorry if im late as it started?" The person who waved was a slim figure, somewhat white spikey hair and deep blue eyes. He shakes his head and looks at his friend. His friend who was rushing t meet him had honey suckle eyes, short brown hair and a child like figure. "Shin....Sai..." they both look to find that Ku walking up to them. Ku and Shin are twin and look similar but Ku eyes are a light blue. Ku and Shin high-five as both brothers nod. A loud ding was heard and everyone attention went up to the stage. The pastor of the town gain everyone attention and open up his mouth "Everyone...a pleasant evening. We are here today of a incident happening to one of our children" A girl about the age of sixteen brought her little sister and put her on a round sculpture that had Diamond, Hearts, Spades and Clubs. These signs have a very importance to the town. They were engraved by thier names. The girl walks away as the symbals fall on her sister wrapping her up tightly. Her sister was attack by the undertaker and her soul was taken away from her body. So the town is trying to get her soul back. As the girl was there the pastor said a few words and the symbols wraped the girl tighter as he light up in Red, Green, Black and Yellow brightly. As the soul seatching was in progress the round sculpture tranformed into something huge. Arms and feet outstretch through out the sculpture. Screams was heard as people runs out. Shin, Ku and Sai nodded as they brought out thier weapons. Shin had a long well desing and sculpture Scythe that was a color of his eyes and gray. Ku a sword that can cut anything and everything While Sai had pistols two in each had. His pistols can hold up to one hundred holy bullets. They ran and Shin made the first move and cut the tightly wraped symbols to release the girl and holds her tight in his arms and does a backflip to dodge the strong attacks from his brother. Once at a safe distance he felt something, his eyes widen ever so slightly as he looks down and looks at her chest "Its moving every so lightly" he mumbles and he sister runs to her. He nods so does she. He runs and helps the other. "Sai, Ku lets finish this" both brothers goes in a one full attack postion as Sai points his pistols at it and grins wide. The brother attack at the same time and witha final slash its Ku turn to destroy it with multiple bullets. Like a slow motion both brothers dodges with a spinning backflip landing skillfully. Once over they high fived each other "Oh hell yeah...the gaurdians are better than ever"shouted Ku while both Shin and Sai shakes thier head. A loud clap can be heard as they all looked up...they gasp and thier in a suit was a guy that had long blond hair and blue color eyes that were mysterious. All three males grips thier weapons hard "Oh my...i didnt came here to fight just to take the girl and be on my way" his voice was scary. "No way Creep..." Ku shouted. He only grins and steps from the edge of the window and falls infront of them. "Sorry what was that?" He grinned like it was a joke but his grin meant something else
