Angels

All she felt was pain as she hit the water. Water rushed in to her lungs but she made no attempt to swim to the surface. Slowly she sank to the bottom of the river. Her lead limps dragged her down. The only sound was the rushing water and the only sight was the disappearing light. Though she was seconds from death she smiled as the angel was returning home.
