Four days. Four goddamned days and I still couldn't get over the fact that I was leaving California to take a 6 month tour with 5 Seconds of Summer. No matter how many times the boys said it was no big deal, I couldn't help but thank them every time I saw them. Which was frequently, because we'd decided if we were going to go on tour with each other, we'd better get to know each other. So for the past few days, when the boys weren't busy with interviews, we'd go out and hang. It was great, because not only did I get to meet four of my biggest idols, but I also made four new best friends. I couldn't believe it the day they asked us to open for them. I couldn't believe it the day we signed the papers and made a video releasing the info. I couldn't believe it the day that they helped us to pick out a set list from the songs we had written. Even now, as I placed my bags in the huge tour bus the boys had gotten for us, I couldn't help but want to scream in excitement.

"Stop daydreaming and help would ya'." Stella asked, a playful smile dawned on her lips. I gave a quick grin before helping her to pull her bags onto the bus and into her bunk. We'd decided that we'd unpack later, while we were on the road to pass the time, since we wouldn't be able to talk to the boys, who had a separate bus. I heard Xander call our names and the two of us ran off the bus to meet him. The boys were standing in front of him, waiting patiently for us.

"Sorry it took so long. This one couldn't stop daydreaming... Probably about some boy that she likes or something." She said pointing to me. I blushed and bumped her shoulder.

"I wasn't daydreaming about a boy, gosh." I mumbled, before turning to the boys. "She's kidding." I said a bit louder. They chuckled.

"Are you guys ready to get on the road?" Ashton asked with a hopeful smile.

"As ready as I'll ever be." Xander replied. I bit my lip before following up.

"Which is very not ready... But lets do this!" I cheered. The boys laughed before joining along and cheering 'Yeah!' along with the help of Xander and Stella.

"Alright, well I guess we'll see you in..." Calum looked at his watch, "three hours." He said. I nodded.

"Guess so."

"You guys are lucky. Your first show is actually still in Cali so you don't have to worry about jet lag." I sighed.

"Thank the lord for that." I said. They all laughed and we all parted ways to go onto our respective buses. To be honest, jet lag wasn't the only reason I was happy to be starting here in my home state. Another reason was that we had had so many people from different parts of the state come down to Josh's to see us that we might have had some people from the audience that actually knew our songs. And I'd never been happier that people recorded us live because I was more than certain that a majority of the 5SOSFam looked us up and listened to us. I only knew they did this because I knew that whenever I found out the name of the boy's opening act, I looked them up and if I liked them, I learned as many of their songs as I could before the concert. That's just the way fans are. And it made me happy that we might have had people who know-and maybe like-our music.

Three and half hours, 7 bags of chips and three games of Fifa later, we arrived at the venue. Since we left early day, we were going straight there for sound check. I couldn't keep off of my feet and as soon as we stopped, I ran off the bus, taking in a deep breath of fresh air. One by one, the others filed off of their buses and started stretching. As Michael pulled his arms above his head, I couldn't help but notice his shirt ride up to reveal his toned stomach. He caught me looking and flashed me a friendly smile and waved. I blushed and waved back as we all started to walk toward each other.

"So are you guys excited?" Luke asked. I looked at him, gaping.

"Are we excited?" I asked, incredulously. "We just spent the last three hours eating chips and playing Fifa and now we're going to play in front of an arena to god knows how many people. Of course we're excited!" I burst. Ashton and Calum burst out laughing and Luke gave an amused smile.
