Together Since...Forever?

I walk hand in hand through the halls of Sun Hill Middle School with Ace next to me. It was the first day of school and I wore my well fit black jeggings and my floral t-shirt that I got over the summer for my birthday. I also wore my converse which were pretty worn out but still looked good enough to wear. I wasn't one to dress up much on days like these, and neither was Ace. He just wore black jeans, a navy blue t-shirt, and all black vans. I see a figure walking me way "Hi Zo.", my best friend Sabrina said shooting an extremely happy grin at me. After I greeted her with a smile back, I notice Niall next to her with their fingers interlocked. See, that was the thing, we were dating each other but best friends with each other, too. These were the days. The days where I had him, and he had me. We had other. Now, this is reality:

"Chummy!" I hear a very familiar voice call my name. It was Sabrina. "Hey Baby." I hear another familiar voice greeting me happily. Instead of this being some other friend of mine, it was Niall, my boyfriend. "Hey guys! So did you hear about the new kid?" I said wondering about him and where he was at. "Oh yeah, he's not coming to school 'till next week I think. I heard Mr.Goode talking about it earlier." Bri (Sabrina) said thinking about what the teacher had said. "Awww I wont get to meet him." I replied looking a bit sad. "Oh yeah! Liz aren't you going to that camp thing?" I go by the name Elizabeth now, but Liz for short. "Yeah I have to fini-" I was interrupted by the bell of the school that I forgot that I was in. "Well bye guys, I guess we have to go to class now", a sigh escaping my lips as I grab my books and walk off to my first class.

*in class*

I get a text from Sabrina

S- Hey meet me outside of school! Like now!

Z- What why?

S- Just come outside!!!!!

Z- Well geez I'm sorry, I didn't know I couldn't ask questions!

S- Ok, I'm sorry! NOW COME
OUTSIDE! NOWWWWWW!

Z- fine

"Um Mr.Goode, can I use the bathroom?"

"I don't know Zoe, can you?" He replied emphasizing the can part.

"I sure can!" I said getting out of my seat and walking out of class before he could say anything else.

I look towards the entrance to see Liz standing there looking the other way.

I walk towards her when I feel somebody lightly blindfolding me.

"Just stay right here and don't move." I hear Niall say.

"Um okay..." I say in more of a questioning tone.

After a few moments I feel two hands guide me forward.

"Okay...open" He says

I take off the blindfold to see Niall and Liz

"Why am I here?" I say confused

" I don't know we were bored in Homeroom, lets go get Chipotle!" Liz says casually.

"What no! We have to get to class!" I say as I walk back towards the school.

"Ugh! Come on! Please!" Niall pleads

"Ummmmmm....only if you buy me food because I...I have no reason...just but me food"

"Fine! Lets go!" He says

"Well there's one problem...who's gonna drive?" I say unsure

"Me" Liz responds in a 'duh' tone

"What! You don't have your license! We could get in a car accident! We could get caught by the cops! We could-"
