"Hey, kid. You hungry? I managed to wrangle up two pop tarts," Emma said. "No, thanks," we sighed as we continued to stare out the window. I heard Emma sigh and then her footsteps as she walked away.

I rested my head on Henry's shoulder and whispered, "Why do bad things happen to good people?" Henry shrugged. I sat back up and turned to Henry. "I thought Mom promised to be good... And to change..." I started to cry.

Henry hugged me as I cried. Henry soon started crying. "I wish he was still here," I said as I wiped away my tears. "Me too," Henry said. We sat in silence for what seemed like hours. Finally, I noticed the phone.

I quickly picked it up and dialed the number that I knew by heart. "What are you-" I cut Henry off. "Shhh," I said. I put the phone on speaker and listened.

"You've reached the office of Archibald Hopper. I'm sorry I can't take your call right now. I'm either with a patient-" the recording started but I couldn't listen to it anymore. "Or dead," I whispered. I hung up and Henry hugged me. Grandpa came in and sat next to us.

"It's okay, kids. Things will get better, I promise. You just...got to hang in there," Grandpa told us. "Doesn't feel that way," Henry said. "I know. I know," Grandpa sighed. Pongo suddenly came running through the front door and rushed over to where we were sitting.

"Pongo!" Henry and I exclaimed. "How did he get in here?" Grandma asked. "I brought him. Marco and I had a chat. Archie knew how much the kids love this dog. We decided they should have him. That is, if you two are up for taking care of him, Henry and Ava," Emma said as she walked in.

"Yeah, we are!" We exclaimed. "Kids, why don't you take Pongo outside and clean him up?" Emma suggested. "Okay. Come on. Come on, boy! Come on! Let's go! Come on, boy," I said as we guided Pongo outside. We left the building and found a hose on the side of the building.

"Come here Pongo," I said. Pongo ran over to me and Henry held on to him while I washed Pongo's feet off. When we were done Pongo shook the water off of his paws and we went back inside. We played around with Pongo for a while until we over heard Gandpa and Grandma talking.

"You want to move out?" I heard Grandpa ask. "I just suggested it, let's not discuss this here, let's go to Granny's," I heard Grandma say. They left and I turned to Henry shocked. "They want to move out?" Henry asked. "We could do so much! We could take their room and make it-" Henry started.

We soon started coming up with a bunch of ideas. "Let's make a blueprint!" I suggested. Henry nodded and we started to draw up blueprints.

"You two plotting your escape from Shawshank, kids?" Emma asked as she walked in. "No, they're blueprints. We had some ideas for what to do if David and Mary Margaret move out. Look," we said.

"You want to make Mary Margaret's room an armory?" Emma asked as she looked at the blueprints. "Yeah. You know, for weapons and stuff. To protect us - from Regina," I said. "She's not going to hurt you. I'm not going to let her," Emma told us.

"She hurt Archie. What if she wants to take us back?" I asked. "That's not going to happen," Emma said. We heard knocking and Pongo started to go crazy. "Pongo? What is it?" Emma asked. Emma answered the door and paused.

"Archie..." I heard Emma trail off. I stared at Henry confused. "Hi," I heard a familiar voice say. Henry's face lit up. "What happened?" I heard Emma ask. "It was Cora. She kidnapped me," the voice said. It was Archie!

"Archie?" I asked as I walked towards the door. I saw Archie's smile and we ran over to him. "Ava. Henry. Oh!" Archie exclaimed. We hugged him and I held on to him tight. "Oh, it's alright. I'm fine. I'm fine," Archie assured us.

"Kids. We were wrong. Regina didn't do it," Emma told us. "I knew it. Maybe we should let her know," Henry suggested. "Yeah. But something tells me, either way, we're going to pay the price," Emma said.

"I thought I lost you forever," I whispered into Archie's ear. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what," Archie said. I held him tight and never wanted to let him go.
