Yay! I updated the cover! You likely? As soon as I started editing the pictures "when I see you again" by Charlie Booth (?sp?) and Wiz.... Kalifa? Idk how the heck you spell that 😂 anyway it made me chuckle. I don't laugh very often. Or smile. Unless I see someone cute.
Drip, drip, drop.
Yeah, um, sorry 'bout that... Here's the story.Deans POV.
Ugh. It's only been like five periods and I'm already exhausted. If anyone wants to know what hell is like, show them to the nearest high school. I could only wait and listen to the class's collective stomach growling until lunch.
"Alllllllright, class." Mrs. Tran, my English teacher, said sharply. She said everything like she was angry at everyone. Her own son Kevin, who was actually a friend of Sam's even though I hardly ever saw them talk, was in the same grade as him, but the kid was a genius. He was in "advanced placement" and even though I've never talked to him much he seems pretty cool.
"Your homework is to read from pages 206 to 305." I heard a happy sigh from the second to last row.
"Sweet no homework!" A kid whispered to his friend, who nodded in agreement.
I could feel Ms. Tran's glare from the blackboard. Still facing the board, she said, "And don't even think that you won't be found out if you neglect the assignment. Mr. Blakley."
"I-wha- jeez, what is this lady, a friggin' dragon?!" The kid hissed again.
Ms. Tran smirked. "No Mr. Blakley," She said as she walked back to her desk. "I'm a tiger mom." We all sniggered at both her comment and the look on Blakley's face as the bell rang and we all filed out the door. I yawned and stretched as I stood, then grinned to myself happily. Lunch time.
"Oh, hey Dean!" I glanced to the right of the door where a very calm and composed Castiel was leaning on the door frame, his tan canvas bag slung across his shoulders and his navy blue rectangular-frame glasses slipping down his nose, just enough to make me want to push them back up. I smiled. If I had thought about it just then, I probably would have been surprised that the smile was genuine. Jeez, I've only known the kid for a day and he's already made me smile.
"Hey Cass. What's up? I wasn't expecting to see you for another few minutes. Wait, how did you know that this was my fifth period?" He smiled. He even blushed a little bit.
Be still my heart.
"Oh, yeah. Your friend, Charlie, she sits next to me in first or, at least, she moved there today, I suppose to gossip about you. Not that I did! I mean, not like, bad gossip. I mean, well, er-" I stopped him with a stern hand on his shoulder.
"Dude. Stop. You're rambling as much as Cecil with his Carlos obsession."
"I heard that, Winchester. Do not chastise me simply for acknowledging and appreciating that boy and his lovely, lovely, hair."
I cleared my throat. "Yeah, um, thanks. Cecil. Anyway, so I'm assuming Charles gave you my fifth period and probably my whole schedule, I wouldn't put it past her, probably so that you could find me and sit with me at lunch, am I right?" He gave me an adorable little embarrassed smile. Ugh, why do I keep calling him adorable? I'm totally straight. This boy made me feel completely heterosexual. Totally.
Dear god, that's possibly the biggest lie I've ever told.
"Yeah. As soon as she saw us outside the door she wanted to know everything. And I mean everything. When I told her what you said, I mean the whole sitting-with-you-at-lunch thing, she made this weird squeaking noise and then grabbed my arm. Her grip is quite strong; I was half afraid that she was going to leave a bruise!"
"Yeah, that sounds like Charles, alright." I chuckled. "Anyway, follow me soldier. I have some people that you need to meet."

Cass' POV.
Dean turned on his heel and marched in the direction of D hall, or more commonly know as the troll sector. The name came from the fact that a very large and grumpy teacher named Mr. Markarov patrolled that hall every day during passing period. He was actually a pretty nice guy when you got to know him.
Dean led me down the hall until we had reached a flight of old-looking stairs. They were so worn that the once tan paint was a sooty gray color and the plaster had chunks missing.
"Come' on, up here." He said, looking back at me encouragingly.
I followed him up the stairs al the while wondering if the structure was entirely safe. Once we reached the top, I could see that the stairs had led us up to a sort of platform. It's was actually quite nice. The whole wall to the right of me was a giant window where I could see the roof and some trees beyond it.
"Heya Dean. Who's your friend?" A girl with dark hair asked.
"That's Castiel! He's in my first period and he's great and I think he and Dean should get-"
"Yeah hey everybody this is my friend Cass. He's in our grade and I thought he could sit with us?" Dean cut an enthusiastic Charlie off. I couldn't help but blush a little from what I was sure she was about to say. Does she think we would make a cute couple? I mean, I'd be cool with that, but what about Dean? I mean, I've only just met the boy, I don't like him like him. But is Charlie saying that he's gay?
"Cass? Earth to Cassie boy." I glanced up sharply to see everyone looking at me.
"Oh! Um, sorry, I guess I spaced out a little..." I chuckled nervously. Covering my emotions has always been one of my stronger suits. The tiny blonde girl who turned to Dean with her eyebrow arched and a playful smirk on her face.
"Got somethin' to tell us, Deanie?" He snorted.
"Whatchu talkin' bout Willis?" She sighed and rolled her eyes at him. I wondered if she was his girlfriend. She smiled back at me and even though I could tell it was friendly, I got the same feeling from her smirk that I did when Gabriel was plotting something. Like an adorable bunny that will taze you if you get too close.
Ok, so I'm pretty bad at analogies.
"Come on Cassie boy. Sit next to me. I don't bite!"
The boy next to her, a blonde kid that I recognized as a sophomore who was taking college level math and tech classes, leaned into her. "Well that's a damn shame JoJo."
The blonde rolled her eyes and playfully pushed him away, but not before he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Ugh, get a room!"
"Oh, like you and Angela are any better, Benny!"
In the commotion, I felt a hand grab mine and pull me over to where I could see Dean on the sitting on the floor talking to a pretty girl with dark brown hair. I was pushed down onto the floor unceremoniously. I let out a very undignified squeak and flailed into Dean's lap.
We both turned to glare at the perpetrator who, as we knew even before we saw her, was Charlie.
"Charles! What the actual Hell?!" Dean cried. I groaned and tried to glare at her to. I say tried because Dean had been unsuccessful in breaking the fall for my head, and unfortunately my skull had cracked against the ground.
"Ohmygosh! I'm so sorry! I was trying to lead him over here but there was juice on the floor, I slipped oh my god I'm so sorry really I'm really really sorry are you ok? Here, I'll help you to the nurse come on-" she was silenced by the brunette's concerned hand on her arm. The other girl stood up and whispered something in Charlie's ear. The red head nodded, gave me one last frantic apologetic glance, then walked away with the mystery girl.
"Oh man, Cass, are you ok? Actually, no. We're going to the nurse anyway come on."
"Dean, really, I'm fine I'm ok. It's ok." My face was already red and everybody was staring at me, oh god, they're all looking at me, I had to get out of here...
"Cass! Oh come on, don't make me carry you..." I could barely hear him. Ugh, I knew that I was dehydrated earlier, why didn't I bring some water?! I stood up and took a step, but that's as far as I got. After that step I stumbled and was caught by Dean.
"It's ok man, I've gotchya."

Deans POV.
The poor guy looked about ready to puke. I could already see a bruise forming on his forehead. I bit my lip. I could have caught his head I could have prevented this. My fathers frustrated and tearstained face flashed through my head.
"This is your fault Dean. It's your fault son. You have to be more careful next time." Little ten year old me looked down at my shoes.
"I'm sorry, dad! It was an accident! Please don't be mad!" I sobbed. He looked down at me. I know it was an accident! That doesn't make it better though, does it? It still happened." I cried harder.
"Dad, please. I promise it won't happen again! Just put down your bel-"
"PLEASEEEEEEEE! NOOOOO! STOP DAD PLEASE IM SORRY!"
I shuddered at the memory. I didn't want to think about that ever again. Besides, I had things to do just then. I walked as fast as I could with a passed out Cass in my arms. I was already at the end of the hall; the nurses office was just across the lunch area. I started to head that way but stopped and looked down at Cass. I remember how panicked he looked after he hit his head. At the time I thought that it was just because of the pain, but now that I looked back on it, I think that it was because everyone was looking at him. I turned back around and walked to the back exit of the nurses office, avoiding all the kids eating their lunch.Hey everyone!
I'm going to make this chapter into two parts; I wasn't expecting how this was going to pan out and I certainly did not expect it to be so long! So look forward to part two soon. I'm home sick today so I'll probably get a lot done now and perhaps more tomorrow if I have to stay home again. And I just realized that I accidentally did some foreshadowing earlier in the chapter. Whoever can find it gets absolutely nothing but you should try anyway! 😂
I'll be seeing youuuuuu!Holy crap that came out creepy 😂
