I woke up the next morning tangled in the blankets.
I heard the shower running and got out of bed, I walked towards the door, but then I heard Vic's phone go off, I walked over to his side of the bed and picked it up, it was a text message, but his phone was locked.
I fumbled around with it for a second, trying to figure out the password, I finally got it, and read the text message.
"Cant wait to see you today xoxo"
The number wasn't saved in his phone, but I automatically knew it was the girl he's been seeing.
I felt my chest tighten up, and my eyes start to water.
I locked his phone and sat it on the nightstand, just as Vic walked out of the bathroom.
"Good morning" he said as he pulled his shirt over his head
"Morning" I said
"How did you sleep?" He said walking over to the dresser
"Fine, what are you doing today?" I said
"Going to hang with the guys, and talk about band stuff" he said brushing his hair
I knew he was lying..... and I wanted to call him out, but I wasn't ready yet.
"Well I hope you have fun and it's not that stressful" I said faking a smile
"I will, I'll see you later" he said, grabbed his keys, and then he was gone
No hug.....no kiss....no nothing
I sat on the bed, tears started streaming down my face, I started sobbing uncontrollably
"Riley?" I heard Tony say from downstairs
I didn't want him too see me like this, I got up and went into the bathroom, closing and locking the door.
"Riley.....are you in here?" I heard him say from my bedroom
"Yeah, I'll be out in a minute" I said as normal as I could
"Are you okay?" He said, his voice now closer
Why did he have to ask?
"Yeah I'm f-fine" I said stuttering
"Open the door" he said fumbling with the knob
"Tony just let me be alone" I said sitting on the counter
"No, Fuck that, open the door" he said
I sat there as he jiggled the knob. He finally jiggled it enough to where the lock came unlocked and he barged in.
I looked down at my legs, not wanting to make eye contact.
"Whats wrong?" He said stepping in between my legs
"I just didn't want to believe what you told me, but then Vic got a text from her, and then lied to me about where he was going, and then he didn't even say bye or anything and it just hurt really bad" I said quickly as the tears streamed down my cheek
"Look at me" he said raising my head
"You don't deserve that, you are way better than the girl he is trying to sneak around with, you deserve to be treated like a queen, and I'm not going to let him hurt you anymore, you don't have to worry, Everything is going to fall into place" he said smiling
"I hate him" I managed to choke out
"I know, it's okay" he said rubbing my back
"Tony.... you don't have to be so nice to me.....I probably deserved this somehow...." I said
"No, you don't deserve this, at all, shush your mouth right now" he said
"But I-" I tried to say but Tony's lips crashed international mine and I couldn't help but kiss him back, his lips we're so soft.
I pulled away eventually and couldn't help but smile.
"That's what I like to see, that beautiful smile" he said smiling
"Riley!" I heard Vic yell from downstairs
"What should we do?" I said to Tony
"It's up to you" he said
"Alright, just wait Here" I said hopping off the counter
I walked downstairs, Vic was in the kitchen, going through the fridge.
"Why we're you yelling for me?" I asked as I walked into the kitchen
"Just wondering if you we're here, what's up?" He said grabbing a water bottle and closing the fridge
"Nothing, what happened with the band?" I said
"Oh, we finished early" he said
"You are such a liar" I said
"What?" He said
"You are a liar, you weren't with the band, you we're with that girl" I said angrily
"What are you talking about?" He said
"Don't act dumb, I know everything already" I said
"You have no idea what you are fucking talking about!" He yelled
"I do! I know what you've been doing!" I yelled back
"Shutup Riley!" He yelled
"I hate you!" I yelled
"Shut up!" He yelled
"Don't yell at her!" Tony yelled from behind me
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Vic said
"I came to comfort your girlfriend because you are being a piece of shit and cheating on her" Tony said
"So much for bro code" Vic said
"This has nothing to do with bro code, you are being a dick, and she deserved to know it" Tony said stepping in front of me
"Whatever, I'm leaving" Vic said storming past us and out the front door
That was then end of that.
