I can stay here forever..

Storm purrs contently from within. I was currently sitting about 20 miles from the school by a beautiful little lake with a small waterfall.

Yeah but we can't

With that a low snarl is heard, I roll my eyes. Sighing softly I pull my knees up to my chest watching  the water splash down the rocks and into the lake. I've been here for about an hour. So School is still happening.

"You know your dad will kill you for skipping" a familiar voice says, I turn my head glancing at Alana

"No he won't. I'm his little baby" I say with a small smirk, she sits down next to me sighing

"Why did you get so angry back there?" She asks quietly biting her lip. I sigh loudly

"Because... No one should have to deal with that bullshit"

"But no one should get their asses beat in public"

"She deserved it" I laugh, Alana laughs with me nodding. I sigh softly a comfortable silence falling between us. The only thing heard was the water and animals all around the forest.

Whenever I cool down from a rampage I usually go somewhere where its quiet. And it has to do with nature, I like the sounds of nature. Its calms me. Ever since I was younger I've always had a small temper. But when I first shifted, that's when it got worse. So my brothers learned quickly when they were overstepping the boundaries with me. I'm kind of like a land mine I guess you could say. I'm still learning some things on how to control myself. As the Valentina's were always known for their short tempers. I just happened to be the worse of the bunch. I'm only 17 so I'm just getting started

"Bex?" Alana asks bringing me out of my thoughts. I look at her with a questioning face

"I said.. Do you think we will ever find our mates?" She asks in a serious tone. I bite my lip a little

"Honestly... I don't know.." I mumble looking down at my lap fumbling with a piece of grass.

"Me either... I just- Want to feel what its like.. To have that connection with that one person your destined to be with" Alana sighs looking off into the distance. I nod slightly understanding what she's feeling. Ever since we were young, she has always fantasized about finding her mate. Having children, raising her family. Anything to deal with romance, love, and family, she's fantasized about it.

"Don't worry Lana.. You'll find him soon" I smile nudging her gently. I see the edges of her mouth curl up slightly meaning she knew she would

"Even if I had to hunt him down myself.. I will make sure you get what you've always dreamed for" I say with a serious but sassy tone, causing her to let out a laugh her eyes sparkling.

"Thanks" Lana smiles giving me a side hug, which I happily return. It was true, even though I'm quick to anger, I would go to the ends of this earth to make the ones I love happy.

"What about Blake? Has he found his mate yet?" Alana asks retracting from her topic

I shake my head "Nada... I know that he desperately wants to find his mate though"

Alana sighs nodding mumbling something inaudible, I just lean back soaking in the rays of the sun.

Bexley, dad wants you back home now

A voice rings in my head, I groan knowing that it was Blake who was using the pack link.

"Your dad?" Alana asks as if it were so obvious. I nod huffing pushing myself up off the ground
