(Cass's Point Of View)
I turned the corner to see the grand white doors of the orphanage. I entered that commons, hoping that no one would stare at me, as usual. And to my luck, and surprise, no one was there.
Hm, must all be sleeping or out.
But I couldn't worry about that right now, I had to find Kelsey. I ran up to her lavender purple door. I didn't have to worry about anyone else answering, she was one of the lucky ones who got their own room. I banged on the door like a psycho. She immediately answered the door, dressed in her shorts and "Panic! At The Disco" band shirt. "What? Is something wrong, Cass?" she said, rubbing her eyes. Meanwhile, I was jumping up and down like a 5 year old on a sugar-high. I was too excited to pull out my phone, so I just started pointing at my Fall Out Boy band shirt. She just looked at me like I was crazy. I gave up and pulled out my pathetic phone. She had just noticed my left hand. "Cass, oh my gosh, what happened to your hand?!" She screamed, worriedly.
"I was walking back here, when I saw a light burgundy sports car cutting the corner not looking or regarding anything that was happening in front of it. At the same corner, a man was crossing the street." I texted, wincing everytime I used my left hand. I glanced at Kelsey, who was staring at the messages I was sending her. She looked like she was reading a book that had her on the edge of her seat. I decided to continue through the pain for Kelsey and said, "My instinct was to help him, so I ran into the road and pushed him out of the way, and as the car zoomed past, my left hand was following behind me, and my hand smacked the car." Kelsey looked up at me urgently and informed, "We need to get this cleaned and bandaged." She ordered me to come inside, and she sat me down on the edge of her bed. She brought a wet rag and wiped my hand clean of blood and quickly took the bandage tape and wrapped it around my wrist. She put a sling on top if me and gently set my arm into it.
I took my phone, right hand only, and started texting. Kelsey put her hand on my phone at took it from me. I gave her a confused look. "Here, write instead. It'll be easier." she said, handing my a small whiteboard and black marker. I took the marker and started writing, "Thanks! But, the point was, that man. He was no ordinary man." Kelsey looked confused, and soon after, the look started to disperse and her face turned blank. "Who was it?" she asked. I pointed to my shirt. And I wrote, "Patrick Stump." She started freaking out. "PATRICK STUMP! You're kidding! But, you wouldn't lie to me. Gasp, you ACTUALLY SAW HIM!!!???" I took the marker and wrote, "Yep, and he talked to me." And then, Kelsey and I started to silently scream. "You saved Patrick Stump's life, Cass!" I did. I actually did.
Hey guys! Sorry for such a short and crappy chapter. I'm writing this on my phone at 2:30am, with school at 6:00 am. Sorry, I may not be able to have Chapter 6 up today, but tomorrow it will definitely be up and Chapter 7 will be there too. Thanks so much for supporting me all the way to here. I find it absolutely astonishing. And if you can and/or at all like this story, please recommend it to some of your friends too! Once again, thank you guys for all the support, and you are truly epic. Almost as epic as Fall Out Boy themselves. Stay awesome!
