Chapter 11 (Part 1)

"Mas grabe pa dito pag ako mamamanhikan sa mga magulang mo Addie."

"Hindi ko alam."

"Addie, you need to come with me. Sumunod kana dito."

"Ma, pasusunudin nyo ako dyan nasa kalagitnaan ako ng pasukan."

"But college? come here and stay with me for college."

"Pag-iisipan ko."

"Addie..."

"Pag-iisipan ko po."

"Ok. I miss you anak."

"Me too. Mag ingat po kayo dyan."

Mom ended the call and I fell on my bed. I scream mentally for what's going on with my life. "Addie get dress now we're going out for dinner." I turned around to my brother dressed in a very formal way. He's on his suit and tie. More of a tuxedo if that's the name? "Why are you dressed like that?" I asked him frowning. He sat on the edge of my bed. "Because little sister we're going on a party." It made me frown some more. "Uhh party for you is whatever you're wearing is fine, You're simple man short and plain t-shirt. But you're so different." I said.

"Kasi mamamanhikan na ako kapatid." He said and my eyes widen. "Kayo padin ni Adeline?!" I ask in excitement. Adeline is my Brother's girlfriend for life, And for forever. Adeline and Miguel. My brother's name is Miguel. "Ok wait for me, I'll be ready in an hour." I said and went the bathrom fast I sight my brother's expression before I could close the bathroom door. "What? I have to take a shower." I said. "Not an hour Addie. We'll be late!" He said. And I just closed the door and laughed. After my shower, I quickly change into a dress and strapped my stilettos on. A little make up and I walked down the stairs.

I saw Miguel's back facing me but he's with someone. Someone familiar. "Addie, nandito si Lucas, hindi mo ba naalala pinsan nya si Adeline." He said. Lucas came to me and kissed my cheek "Hey Addie." Lucas greeted me. "H-Hey..." I said. We entered the car, the two guys were in front while I'm at the back seat. They were talking until my phone rang only to see Louie's name and face on the screen. I was about to answer it but it was ended. Lucas turned to face me. "Sino yun?" He asked. "Louie." I said and looked away. He faced the road again. After an hour we stopped at a fancy clubhouse. And when I say fancy literally F-A-N-C-Y.

Lucas offered his arm and I circled my arm on his. We smiled at each other and people clapped when my brother went inside. "And there he is!" The host said. Seriously? mamamanhikan ba talaga kuya ko oh mag papakasal na? Someone already led me and Lucas to our seats. We were sited with a bunch of Lawson. Adeline's surname. Lawson is known as the heirs. Bakit? they have a wealthy family. They're billionaires! No wonder why this whole event is huge. After a boring greeting we ate dinner. Kuya introduced himself. "I'm Miguel Alcantara for all of you that don't know me, this beautiful lady next to me is Adeline Lawson my finace." Kuya said

Kuya looked at me and caught my eye. "Since my parents aren't here I would like you all to meet my little sister, Addie come up here!"Miguel said I faced Lucas first. "Go!" He said and I went up to stage.

"Grabe yung pag mamanhikan ng kuya ko." I said to Lucas smiling.

"Mas grabe pa dito pag ako mamamanhikan sa mga magulang mo Addie." Lucas suddenly said
