I'm Begging

I'm begging,
begging for you to stop.

I plead for you to spare me,
but you don't hear my calls.

I yell out for your love,
yet you leave me lonely and frail.

You've left time and time again,
coming back with words that sting,

leaving my heart to break.

I scream in pain, after hearing your words.

I've got no more love to give,
no more soul for you to see.

My heart was taken away, taken a long, long time ago, by you, the one who I plead.

I never begged for this pain,
never committed sins to deserve the sting.

And still, to this day,

I beg, beg for you to stop. My heart is gone, my soul is frail, and life is weary.
