Chapter Two
Kendall's POV I woke up to Jupiter and Tiger crying like always, I got up and stretched, I walked over to there cots and calmed them down quickly, I rushed to the bathroom and had a shower, I looked in the mirror I looked pale, I put on foundation, black winged eyeliner and light pink matte lipstick, I walked out and got my hair dryer drying my long brown hair, I took the towel off and put on my undergarments, I got to my small wardrobe and got some black high waisted jeans, a cropped black singlet and a red plaid top partly buttoned up, I pulled my hair into a messy pony tail and I got the nappy bag ready with the things the twins need and I got there red twin pram and moved it so they sat beside each other facing me, I picked up Tiger and lay her on my bed she was gurgling away i undressed her from her pjs also changed her to a fresh nappy, since it was hot today I got her a pastel orange onesie with no legs and short sleeves I added grey tights over her legs and some matching pastel orange booties and beanie, I have her a bottle feed and burped her and got her strapped into the pram, then I got Jupiter and lay her on my bed and got her out of her pjs and changed her nappy, then changed her into a pastel yellow onesie that was short sleeved and had no legs, I added white tights, pastel yellow booties and pastel yellow beanie, I also fed and burped her and got her in the pram next to Tiger, I got toys hanging from the top of the pram for them and there dummies in there mouth, I had everything ready so I got out the door grabbing my handbag on the way and a blanket for both of them and set them under the pram, I locked the door and saw the thing I didn't want to do today the eight flights of stairs I had to go down you since the elevator is broken and it can't get fixed because these apartments are not owned by anyone people live here because it's been abandoned and it free so that's why gangs, druggies, alcoholics live here or in my case teen pregnancy there's a few girls who live here one girl I met she is nice but she's addicted to cocaine and she has three children under five which is kind of bad but she still is a good mum to them she's even tried to get in a good life but it's never worked out I guess when I live here freak out something bad is going to happen but you never know what can happen, once i got got down the stairs I walked down the road to the cafe I'm not working today but I can eat there for free and since I don't really have food at home it's really good for me. After walking a while I finally got to the cafe Stephanie (the owner) saw me and she got one of the worker to get me something I sat down at a booth and waited Stephanie sat down
"How come you're in today?" I asked her she sighed
"A guy needed to do the plumbing and you know me I didn't want one of the workers to watch or pay so I did it myself" she said I nodded, she looked over at the pram and got Tiger out and sat her on her knee, Tiger was looking up at her lovingly, I got Jupiter out and past her to Stephanie as well and she sat in the booth with the twins I gave them kisses on there cheeks which made them giggle I smiled wide they always brought a smile on my face just like Lu- shut up mind I went to the back and put an apron around my waist and put an order book and in the pocket at the front, I took my plaid top off and hung it up, someone tapped my shoulder
"Could you do the till and coffees?" Dave asked, he's one of the workers here complete opposite to Lu- well the guy that I dated, Dave had blonde hair and blue eyes he also wore glasses wasn't that confident In himself he thought that he wasn't good enough for certain girls and plus he's very attractive and very smart all girls love him he just doesn't notice, anyway back to reality, I nodded answering his question, he also gave me a quick hug to say hello I went behind the till a lady with long dark hair
"Next please?" I asked nicely, the lady turned and I straight away freaked out
"Oh sorry," she said and looked up from her purse, she sneered at me and stepped forward
"Oh my god," she said shocked
"H-hey Gina," I said nervously, she smiled at me
"Umm your order," I asked her
"Oh right could I have a medium flat white," she asked, I wrote it down and got her coins, I turned to make the coffee, I passed it to her
"Umm just a sec Dave take over," I said to him he nodded I walked around to her she sat her coffee down and pulled me in for a motherly hug I hugged her back tight
"How have you been?" She asked
"Good you?" I asked back
"Yeah great," she said, I started to think I've got to tell her about the twins she has the right to know
"Um Gina I have a big secret I need to tell you I never meant to not tell you and it's bad of me to think I was going to not tell you at all and now I've seen you I feel I have to" I said rushed, I took her hand and brought her to the table where the twins were Stephanie past them over and left, Gina sat her coffee on the table
"Gina these are my twin daughters your granddaughters," I said, she smiled wide and held her arms out I set them in her arms
"Wow there gorgeous so there Luke's," she said I nodded
"Yeah there Luke's they are three months old and they are a perfect mixture of mummy and daddy," I said as they held my finger on each hand, Gina sat down
"Who's who?" She asked me
"The little one in orange is Tiger and in the yellow is Jupiter" I said, I took Jupiter she's a real mummy's girl, Tiger she does like times with me but I have a feeling if she meets her dad and he was around she would be daddy's little girl, I looked up to Gina took see Tiger bouncing on her lap as Gina held her up,
"I better get back to work," I said upset
"Would it be bad if I asked could I take them back to mine so I can bond more?" She asked
"No it's not bad you can and we'll swap numbers and I can text you when I'm finished they have everything they need anyway," I said we both set them in the pram I kissed there forehead
"Buy my babies you Nonna is going to look after you," I said I hugged Gina she gave me her number and she told me she still stayed at the same house, I went back to work as they left the store.
There I stood in front of the house I use to stay in, I fixed my handbag on my shoulder and took a big breath and slowly walked up, I raised my hand up and knocked on the door I heard footsteps come to the door and the door opened and I saw..........
