Ciels POV
I woke up with my arms tangled around (y/n)s waist, and her face in my chest. I kissed her forehead lightly which seemed to make her stir awake. When she opened her eyes her eyes widened but then went back to normal when she realized where she was. She looked up at my uncovered eye and smiled a big wide smile a mother gives to her children before they leave for school. I gave her a light kiss on the nose in return. "You missed, " she said.
"What," I asked and she leaned up and planted a soft fragile kiss on my lips. "O-oh," I stuttered out. "I-is your back feeling better (y/n)?"
"Yea, and you know what else is?"
"What?"
"My broken heart." It wasn't until now I realized I was still engaged to Lizzy. My mouth felt dry at the thought. How will I tell (y/n)? I looked down at her magnificent (color) eyes. I can't lie to her... "(Y-y/n)?"
"Yes?"
"There something important I have to tell you."
"Go on..."
"I'm engaged to someone... But I don't like her like I do you and I've been meaning to call off the engagement but its been so busy around here I haven't had the time," I said and waited for this to process in her beautiful mind.
"Go ahead... yell at me if you want, hit me if it helps but by all means please don't leave," I begged. I saw tears form in her eyes as I said this. I closed my eye and waited for the pain of a slap but it never came. I slowly opened my eyes and as soon as I did I felt something soft and warm against my lips. I ran my hand through her hair and when we pulled away for air I said, "You're not mad?"
"Of course not... Nobody's ever said anything like that to me they always lied until they invited me to there marriage..."
"I'm sorry, (y/n)..."
"Thank you for telling me instead of lying."
"Of course. I will invite Elizabeth over today and call off the engagement."
"You would really do something like that for me?"
"I'd do anything for you, princess."
