That one exception

Part 17

This had to be a dream, I mean that would be the only way they could of gotten in and there was no way we had been asleep for hours, I let my head drop onto the pillow behind Mini's, closing my eyes I sighed and let sleep slowly creep up on me again.

"Tyler..." Lui giggled

"Go the fuck away! I'm not done with being unconscious yet" I grumbled, hearing Delirious snort as he started laughing. I felt Mini fidget and I took the opportunity to roll onto my back so that it looked like the spooning was just an accident. He began to roll backwards with me as he began to wake up, then suddenly froze and grunted. I lifted my head again and looked at the back of his head. I noticed the tension in his body and rolled onto my side propping myself up on my elbow. "Mini you ok?" I mumbled rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

He slowly moved to sit on the edge of the bed keeping one arm wrapped around his ribs "Tyler where did you put my tablets?" He sounded like he was talking through clenched teeth.

"Dresser... on top of my hoodie" I looked over at Cartoonz, who instantly moved and looked for the box of medication. Mini stood up and made his way towards Cartoonz, holding himself very stiffly. I was struggling to stop myself from running over to him but I knew that it would be a bad idea for two reasons. The first, and most important, it would piss Mini off if he thought I was mothering him. Secondly the guys were watching us like hawks and I didn't want to give them any more reasons to assume there was more going on between us than just friendship. Two of them knowing was enough, for the moment at least.

Mini took the packet of pills from Cartoonz and paused, looking back at me on the bed then at Lui "don't get too close Lui he's a serial hugger" He grumbled tiredly as he pointed in my general direction before heading into the bathroom. The second he was out of sight I decided to play on his accusation, I grabbed Lui's arm and threw myself back down on the bed pulling him with me and into a hug.

"Oh my god! Get off me Tyler!" Lui half laughed as he struggled to get up.

"Come on Lui you know you want to" I didn't even try to hold back my laugh while I held onto him as he flailed around.

"Hey is that a private hug or can anyone join in?" Nogla inquired as he shifted his weight.

"Hell no, the more the merrier" I laughed and was instantly joined by Nogla and Delirious, almost burying Lui under various body parts and clothing.

Mini appeared from the bathroom with a glass of water and froze as he looked at the three new occupants of the bed. He gave me an exaggerated distasteful look and turned to look at the dresser, putting down the glass of water. "I leave you alone for two minutes and you replace me...you hussy!" His tone was the same one he used in video's when he would accused one of us of cheating on him, everyone starts to laugh their attention flicking back to me.

"No, No...you're not being replaced" I sat up as much as I could with Nogla laying over my lower half "They got jealous and wanted in on the action" Mini rolled his eyes and leant gingerly back against the dresser "Don't look at me like that I can't help it if I'm a hugging god"

"Mini Help me!" Lui squeakered from somewhere under Nogla. Mini laughed which was quickly followed by a wince and a hiss as he sucked air through his teeth. Everyone froze for a second focussing only on Mini before continuing with what they were doing.

"You're on your own monkey boy" Delirious laughed but rolled off the bed and re-joined Evan by the window. I noticed Evan was inspecting his feet rather than watching the rest of us, was he jealous? I guess that would explain why Delirious moved so quickly.

"Nogla get off of me" Lui and I said at the same time as I shoved him further down the bed and removed myself from the warmth of the cocoon of blankets that had formed around my legs. Everyone moved so that they could sit or stand comfortably.
