To my love, Jack:

I would have never thought in a million years that I would find you.

The love of my life. My soulmate.

Someone who made me smile on my worst days.

Someone who made me feel even better on the great ones.

You were the one who excepted me as I was.

Not looking for only beauty, but looking for personality as well.

You helped me love and appreciate myself more than I ever had in my life.

I started to embrace life more with you by my side.

Convincing me to take risk knowing you'd be there with me the whole journey.

Then going back to your place, as you whispered sweet nothings in my ear.

You made me ever so nervous, and I loved it so much.

Your smile flashed so bright as I would let out little giggles at your comments.

I couldn't help but smile back.

Your arm would wrap around my waist making me feel protected..

At ease.

I loved it.

Then we would spend our nights talking about what ever random thoughts we had.

Some conversations deeper than others.

And by the end of the night, I would have dozed off, head planted comfortably on your chest.

Even though I couldn't see you, I knew you would sit there, and admire my imperections.

Which I hated, but knew you loved.

Things were so good then, so how did we end up here?

I was foolish to say I had found the love of my life.

I was too young to even know what love truly was.

I was in love with the idea of love.

But you came along and turned that idea into something real.

When you broke my heart, I had then hoped that reality was just a dream.

But I couldn't have been farther from wrong.

This affected me in ways you'd never know.

So here I am, writing this for you.

To let you know that you left in peace,

but left me in pieces.
