Today was the day me and Marshall went on our date. I was super duper excited! I woke up to the smell of hotdogs in the kitchen.
"Cake, what are you -yawn- doing?"
"Making hotdogs for my hot bunny!"
I sat down,
"For breakfast?"
"Why not?"
"They're usually for lunch time,"
"Any times a good time for hotdogs!" She rejoiced, sliding a plate full of hotdogs in front of me
I dug in, finishing them in a few minutes,
"Uh Cake, I can't go adventuring with do today,"
"What? Why not?"
"Well, I've kinda got plans with Marshy,"
"Can I come?"
"No, like, private plans,"
"So a date?" She asked, chewing on a hotdog,
"Pfft! No! Well, kinda, maybe...."
"OH MY GLOB MY LITTLE GIRLS GROWING UP SO FAST!"
"Sorry to break it to ya Cake but I'm not your little girl,"
"Oh gosh! What are you gonna wear?!"
"Clothes? Cake it's not a big deal,"
"Come here right now young lady," she dragged me to our closet,
"Hmmm, try this on, and this on, try this, this might look nice," she tossed a load of clothes at me,
"Oh I like this out one!" She said putting a hand on her hip,
"Eww no, it's to puffy and pink," she held a pink dress with purple frills,
"What about this?"
"It looks to depressing!" She held a ripped strapless, dark purple dress with a pink belt,
"Ugh," she sighed, "how about this one?" She held out a blue, off the shoulder sweater dress, a black singlet and some blue slip ons,
"Dude, it's a dress!"
"Just try it on!" She shooed me into the closet to get dressed,
I came out and Cake stared in awe,
"Fionna, you look amazing gurl!"
I walked to the mirror and just stood there for a while
"Wowza," I whispered under my breath, it didn't look at all like me I looked like, I don't know, just, some one else,
Just then, the doorbell rang,
"I'LL GET IT!" I yelled, I was actually starting to get nervous,
I ran down the stares and there stood Marshall, he looked nervous too.
"uh, Hi," he greeted, handing me a dying, grey rose
"Thanks," I smiled, closing the door
"Yeah it kinda died, and I got hungry," he smiled,
"So, where are you taking me?"
"It's a surprise," he smirked
